A tutorial on how to reset the airbag alert blinking on the dashboard. This airbag reset is to be done after the replacement of the spiral cable for the horn. The horn spiral cable causes the airbag to blink for this reason it sends a warning to the driver that there is a malfunctioning part of your vehicle.

Works a treat, but has a bad side effect... Once you start and stop the engine again... The Aircon doesn't work, done two times. Each time Aircon switch doesn't light up. Pretty bad when you need it. Now waiting for airbag to come on again so I can have Aircon.

Did you replace you spiral cable? if not then, it will not work. it is only done after replacing the spiral cable.

Maybe your spiral is damaged. You need to replace it then after do this trick.

It worked on my D40 but about 5 seconds after I started to drive it came back on flashing. I’ve tried numerous times without any success as it was just coming back on. Would you know what the issue could be? Thanks

my airbag blinking light has a different blinking pattern it does like two blinks then blinks fast like 3 times and then turns off.... and then it starts to blink again

You need to replace your spiral cable first, in order for it to fix the blinking airbag issue. You can view my other video on how to replace the airbag.
