Thanks so much for this. Instructions in fitbit app told me to press and hold buttons for 5secs - there are no buttons, and holding the sides did nothing. They said nothing about the screen! Thank goodness for your video. :-)
Thank you so much!! The heart rate monitor stopped working and it is so important for my fitness routine. None of the troubleshooting methods at Fitbit were working. But your step by step reboot was perfect. I now have a beating heart again🙂

YOOOOOOO🤯 I thought my Fitbit was broken. Thank you so muth Much. Plugged it to the charger and held for 5 seconds. Reset it and now it works. Yay, thanks again.
My Fitbit occasionally doesn’t count steps until I sync on the app and even after that it can still stop counting. I hope this is what sorts it out and thank you for being so clear!
Brilliant! I would say that even after doing this, it took my Fitbit 2 about 10 minutes to transfer over the data when I forced it to synch. Bizarre, won't be buying another Fitbit, too full of junk bloatware and struggles to do the absolute basic of synching!

My Fitbit is exactly like you showed. My screen is completely black. I followed your instructions ..the smiley face would come on for a second then it would tell me to download or update the app. I have done both. Didn't help. I have had my Fitbit Inspire 1 month.
