How to Restart Fitbit Inspire 2 (Reboot) 

Thanks so much for this. Instructions in fitbit app told me to press and hold buttons for 5secs - there are no buttons, and holding the sides did nothing. They said nothing about the screen! Thank goodness for your video. :-)

My Fitbit occasionally doesn’t count steps until I sync on the app and even after that it can still stop counting. I hope this is what sorts it out and thank you for being so clear!

Brilliant! I would say that even after doing this, it took my Fitbit 2 about 10 minutes to transfer over the data when I forced it to synch. Bizarre, won't be buying another Fitbit, too full of junk bloatware and struggles to do the absolute basic of synching!

I find it necessary to restart my ipad after I reboot my fitbit in order to it start working again. Not a problem just curious

I’ve tried rebooting from settings on inspire2. Screen glitching so much it isn’t possible to make a selection.

My Fitbit is exactly like you showed. My screen is completely black. I followed your instructions ..the smiley face would come on for a second then it would tell me to download or update the app. I have done both. Didn't help. I have had my Fitbit Inspire 1 month.
