This old wrench was bent and broken and it was not functioning.
The moving jaw was bent so much, that it easily fell out.
After taking apart the jaw, I started with rust remover and made some amazing time-lapse footage.
After removing the pin, it was time to adjust the bent parts.
Then there was a very time-consuming process of hand-filing, sanding, and polishing of the parts.
Finally, it all came together nicely and the wrench works perfectly.
Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe.

Nice job! Don't forget though that every tool kit should have a wrench from Hand Tool Rescue in it

For a pretty simple wrench, it sure needed a lot of things corrected. Very nice job, I'm impressed! Keep up the good work!

Beautifully done! 10 out of 10. I was going to take off half a point for not coloring in the little arrows on the handle but the stop motion animation was so cool I forgave you. 😂 Seriously though great job! 😃👍🏼

Restoration is gud.. best part is the kind of idea/design. How it function/works.. auto lock based on width of the nut.. but under day to day usage the center rod which holds the handle and the mouth will get loosened.. a slight play might be seen..could have modified it by adding a steel bush then the rod (rivit), inserted inside the bush, bush to be fitted to the handle, the Outer Diameter of the hole in the handle should b bigger than the hole provided in the mouth.. so handle holds the bush mouth holds the rod.. both in hard steel. It gives a perfect smooth semi turn.. but still this is not bad too. If its only upto restoration.. great job. Hope u understood my idea..

Why two buffing wheels? Do you have different polishing compunds on each wheel? Also good video - liked the stop motion assembly!
@everytool8557
@everytool8557 4 года назад
That's true. The left buffing wheel has a more coarse polishing compound while the right one has a fine buffing compound.
