This video is false, this is what an Attorney General said about this video among others: "We are aware of social media posts stating that Attorney General's offices can intercede on your behalf with Meta and compel them to reinstate a disabled account, recover a hacked account, or restore access to a lost account. These posts are not authorized by any government agency and do not accurately reflect the role of attorneys general in the handling of consumer complaints."

Thank you for posting this. My whole business was tied to my account and I just got hacked. As of yet FB has not even disabled the account. The hacker even bypassed 2FA security. Just wrote my letter and we'll see what happens.

I'm a Maldives born and living in UK and I cannot express enough how much I despise these scumbags. Literally whenever people ask me my nationality I just tell them I'm British because idiots like these give us a horrendous reputation, not to also mention they scam other Europeans too. This does not actually work. The attorney general does not help. I submitted the complaint just like she said and got a response saying they don’t help with this.

The woman who posted this video is liar. You cannot contact the attorney general of Cali. They represent THE PEOPLE - not a person. You need a cyber crimes attorney to guide you how to get your accounts back when you are a victim of cyber crime.

I tried this and it did not work.

Seeing how amazed Jack is reflects just how little the average person knows about computers. Nothing this *Coherentrecovery* says is difficult to learn. It all just takes practice. Buying devices, RU-vid tutorials and lots of practice gets a person basic hacking skills. The internet was never meant to be secure anything connected to it can be hacked it’s just that simple.

The California attorney general will not assist in getting fb accounts back after being hacked and disabled

Do you submit a different email when you fill out the complaint, or do you use the email your facebook account is attached to?

California AG sent a letter that said they don't do that anymore.

So everything is attached properly I keep asking for codes they send me a code and as soon as I type it in, they claim that the code is the wrong code. They also keep giving me advice to upload my ID, but I can’t upload my ID without a code then they tell me to try it on a different device, but all my devices are locked. What do I do?

Just a heads up that this does not work. It may have in the past, but not anymore. I submitted my online form and got a response back telling me that the state AG's office does not represent individuals in their claims. So don't waste your time. Looks like the only option is to keep harassing Facebook with emails until the hopefully respond with something other than a bot reply. I'm dealing with this currently...

The form requires details about the lost money, but that's not my concern. My focus is on the compromised identities, mine and my daughter's. Can you assist me with this issue?
