1: go to Settings 2: my fire stick tv, 3:go to very bottom factory reset. Confirm with passcode and done!

This is the best and most simple I have had about a doz. videos on how to set up the Amazon Firestick it was mind-boggling until I came across your video it was like seeing Elvis and Grandma at the end of the tunnel Lord I saw the light you have me under your wing keep up your simplicity. Is there a way to factory reset it when it's stuck on the logo loading screen? I think I installed an app that caused this.

Mine is stuck on the Amazon logo. I tried all of the simpler ideas, like using a different HDMI port, completely disconnecting, etc., and still the same thing. I then gave in and tried to do the factory reset, but that didn't work either. Not sure what to do now.

If your "settings" are empty, wait for it. At the end he gives the remote control shortcut to reset it (back and right-ring).

What can I do if my Fire Stick 4k will not Factory Reset ?? Whenever I hit Factory Reset, You think it's going to do something but it just sits on the Settings Menu. I can restart it, but not Factory Reset it. 🙄

doesn't work, didn't free up any memory, reinstalled apps and it held on all my passwords and stuff. Even some apps that I downloaded before were still installed. and I picked the option to NOT RESTORE after it rebooted

***** WARNING ****** if do this like i did get ready for downloader to stop being able to install apk's and other items to stop working,one of amazons new updates is to remove permissions and there is no way to get them back i spent a whole day in chat with amazon and was told so sad to bad no can help. time to scrap the firestick for something else.
