Did well, look great. To anyone else looking to do this. If you want a kit get the 3M one. Its worth the extra all day long. In my exp. meguiars range (105/205/ultimate.AIO) weren't enough for my battered cars. Rupes Blue with their Coarse blue was a recent breakthru. Blasted over the EP3s headlights with that but the ST the first time (of 3) took five hours of hand sanding.etc. Tip for anyone starting: basic of detailing always go with the least damaging method first. Here start at 1500 grit. If thats not enough 1200 if not 800 at a stretch 600. Anymore than that I found you just leave big scratches you can't get out which still show at the end. Wrap the sandpaper on a sponge with a hard foam back. I found NOT pressing it made it better. Allow the sndpaper to "sandpaper" rather than you using brute force and pressing on it. Gently does it. That way you evenly sand like a block rather than the pressure marks where only where your fingers are (same for sanding alloys where that becomes REALLY noticable in the end result). I found soapy water clogged the sandpaper so just used water and lots of it. Good idea if you have one kicking about clay bar the light first. Also avoid the 'Alfords sandpaper as it gets wet deteriorates. Other Packs available on ebay get one that goes up 800 to 2500 or there abouts (one i used was a polish brand, think it had a King symbol on it, was excellent, lastd ages).Once you've decided your starting grit, then double up the refining grade (roughly) for each stage. Finish at 2500 but you can go 3000 then 4000...I use a three stage in the 1200-3000 range depending on the condition of the headlight. Then DA cut, polish, then waxing them after will add protection too, over and above the sealant.
