I have an e-commerce website and I am about to create a sales campaign with 3-4 different ad sets. In the one ad set I was thinking to target warm audience. However my website visitors are less than 4000 the last 180 days. As I understand it's a small audience and I was wondering if this targeting option could affect my campaign. Would you recommend to go only with cold audiences until I grow up the warm audience? Great thanks!

Verey useful, which is more than I can say for FB at times! Have looked at ‘lookalike’ audiences but not granular enough, unless there is a tweak you did not cover. It seems you need to base it on the entire country. Fine if you are selling gold plated widgets country wide. Not a lot of good if you are a photographer or similar service needing clients able to travel to you

Thanks a lot. You create lookalike audiences at the country level BUT you can set location targeting within the ad set and you will only reach people that meet both criteria. I’d recommend checking out my video on lookalike audiences

Great job on the video Ben! Quick Q... when it comes to using a custom audience to target specific business owners. Lets say I have a list of 10k business owners in a niche I want to target as I know they are my ICP. I use - First Name, Last Name & Email ID. What does that email ID need to be? Can it be their business email? Or does it have to be their personal email? (most likely the one they used to sign up to FB in the first place.) This would be super helpful to know as I want to make sure my ads are running to my ICP as business owners. Thanks ;)

Hi Ben, first of all, thank you for all you do. As far as warm audience, do I need to keep updating them? So for example if I choose “All websites visitors 180 days” do I need to update again let’s say 30 days later or does meta constantly updating those visitors automatically?

You are very welcome and that’s a good question. With warm audiences I bundle them in together because we know we want to reach all the people and don’t need to test those audiences. With cold audiences we need that data, so split them up.

Great video Ben! How big of an audience would you recommend before starting a re-targeting campaign? Let's say if you are having 300-500 people visiting your landing page from your ads in past one week; would that be a reasonable audience before launching the re-targeting campaign? Hey man yeah it’s good enough, that’s what I did I waited a couple days to build a Retargeting audience then ran it and got a good ROAS, but if it doesn’t deliver bc it’s too low also add in another audience that could be like at least watched 25% of ur video so it makes it bigger and actually deliver . Works for me

Aloha Ben and thank you so much for this video. Question: I live in a tourist location (Kauai) so I cant have a broad audience (and our ads are expensive but that's another story) I have several ads running for my day spa business. I just realized I may have made a mistake with a "re-targeting ad" and it might not be a re-targeting ad after all. What I did was choose locations (on the island) as well as select different criteria such as "hot FB video views within 7 days" etc, so I used a custom audiences AND location settings. Will that ONLY be shown to folks who saw the video(s) who are at those locations? Or all people in the locations AND the people who viewed the content I selected? Thanks!

Hi Ben, In terms of Video Views audeinces: My question is when adding multiple videos to the custom audience, does the logic ressemble an OR or an AND between them? Meaning, if I selected 10 videos, and someone watched only 9 of them, would they still see my ad? If it's an OR, they will, but if it's an AND, they will not!

Great video! Regards to email list upload from Klaviyo, what happens if we use a customer list from our other brand that sells related products? Would this be allowed, can FB crack the data? We have a little hard time getting the new brand off the ground so I thought of using the existing data from our other brand to build the list quicker? Would love to know your opinion on this. You won't be able to retarget those people I'm afraid. You can only do so based on your own Pixel.

Hi Ben! Thank you for delivering this value! I have a question regarding the retargeting campaign. When I have my campaign setup and added my retargeting audiences, the ads manager tells me that my ad will likely get 0 conversions and tells me to broaden my audience. I know that my audience doesn't contain tens of thousands of people but it sure does contain a couple thousand. What do you recommend me to do? Thanks in advance!

@@BenHeath This is the response I got from Meta Support: "This is a expected behavior as our system can only import a maximum of 10 audiences. The system will pick from the oldest audience list to the latest audience list. In order to select the latest audience list, you might have to delete some of your audience list for the latest audience list to shown up in the 10 audience selected by the system." Thought I'd shared just in case :-)

There should be an option to only target people who click my specific campaigns instead of even landing page views of specific pages. The views on lp's can be organic or paid but there is no way for me to differentiate that
