How To Retrieve A Sunk Rc Boat - Sunk Rc Mini Outrigger Rescue
Windy rough day on the pond, flipped my mini Outrigger & she sank to the bottom. Then I resurrected it.
The 2200mah 3s venom pack is really heavy for the boat along with the boat being damp when I taped the hatch on played a role in the boat sinking. Windy day didn't help either.

I've used the method of boat retrieval in the past with success, Hope it helps some one fish there boat out the water. Lol. Thanks for watching

The other day I had to swim for my boat in near freezing water... 100% worth it best feeling getting your boat back after almost loosing it!

I did it January 2 years ago.very dangerous I was sick for a week. I will never do it again. The Water was over my head, but I wasn't loosing my deltaforce 35 hw 130 HV & tp power 4060 with twin 4s battery's. Df35 was Newly built at the time. Be safe you guys. the fishing rod and hook method works great.

I tried diving in after mine..no luck today water is over 15 ft deep..even after going back with mask,spot light,raft 10 ft PVC pipe..no luck it my be 20 ft plus.. got to put my thinking cap on it was one of my favorites 😂

@@IRONCLADRC my exceed 22 inch mono..kinda like that oxidean mini mono..its about 60 out at least 15 foot..I found a camera for checking sewer lines..$120.i could put it on end of PVC pipe with a hook..but will try a drag line like you used..may go with rope in case I catch a sunken log...it will be a challenge that's for sure.

Lucky. Over here that method would catch you bicycles, cash registers, mopeds, maybe a car door, but not your rc boat...

Wish I had vid of mine, the aquacraft revolt 30 was known for nose diving. Did a hard turn went straight to the bottom. Stayed there about 3 minutes stuck at n the mud, cam back up went 4 feet up in the air landed on its back smoked a boat 30 seconds short ot the pack and blew up sank bobbing total loss .

Freaking awesome. I need help. I have a m41. I used pliers to bend the trim tabes and have stress cracks and it takes on water. What can I use the would stick to plastic ?

whoop there it goes. pack the motor/esc/servo in a bowl of rice for a couple of days the dry rice will drawl the water out.

Lost mine yesterday... in of of your vids u used a magnet which do u recommend the hooks or magnet? I'm just hoping to fish it out I know all my electronics r fried but still its the notion that it's in there... the problem with where mine went under its pretty far out... not sure if my cast will reach the spot...I'm hoping the current will push it closer to the shore...

Use the longest rod possible to get leverage for a launch cast,ya know what I mean. As for the hooks vs magnet? Boats usually don't have much steel in them that being said hooks would be a good bet. Circle hooks will not hang and snag on underwater obstruction quite as bad as a "normal" j hook. Octopus hooks work really good too but there expensive

Ya bro my blackjack 24 😭😭😭😭...I got the hooks n weights today...my first practice cast was a fail the line snapped...luckily I bought more then one package of hooks...I did two more casts n those were ok...depending on my work schedule I'll hit it again tomorrow... ty for the advise n help...I'll let u know if I get it back...

I hope you hook it. The boat will not sink straight down to the bottom, they glide to the bottom if it goes down bow first it will glide like an airplane to the bottom & vise versa. 10 -15 -20 feet from where it sank on the surface, Ya know what I mean.
