Girl let me tell you something!!! The way you explained each step was awesome. Thank you so so much I learned from you in the 1st 2 minutes then watching a 20 to 30 minute video on someone else channel. Thanks again boo
Thank you so much for this advise. My hair is very fragile and cannot be to much manipulated but I will pay special attention to where the division of the new growth meets the two-strand twist starts as roll that part.
I thought I was slow for not knowing how to 2 stand twist but that’s because no one explains that you’re supposed to twist into the opposite direction. Thank you for this
Wow this is the first time I saw this kind of video! I was wondering about it. Thank you so much. I would love to support you. I hope we can be friends. ❤❤❤
I usually leave the style for 2-3 weeks before I take it out to maintain the retwist. Then I wear the crinkly hair for another 2 weeks before i retwist again. I have seen others leave their two strands in it up to 6 weeks.
Check "1 Corinthians 15 :1-4" when you stand face to face with our creator , and if he ask you why he should let you into his kingdom .. what would you say ?
@@kNINER-tj6mq true bro non of us deserve it thats why we cannot work our way into heaven Only by blood of Jesus Christ, I've been wrong about alot of things because I'm human , but I'm not wrong about us deserving to go there by only the blood of Christ because it is of God
I have started my locks this time from two strand - as they grow out and I simply twist the existing lock will the newer growth look much different from the two-strand portions? I am curious to know. Thank you for you help.
In my experience, the new growth will definitely look different from the two strand twist in the beginning, but as the loc matures, it will look more uniform. In order to get that effect though, you need to be sure you palm roll all the way down the loc whenever you get a retwist. Hope this help!
Dang it!! I wish I learned exactly which direction clockwise was!! My two strand twists been in my head for 3 weeks now and they’re INTERLOCKED!!!! They are twisted toward my left ear cuz I did them myself 🙄😭
Would i someone with short starter locs coils (hair when stretched falls around upper lip) be able to wear this style after my first retwist or do I need to wait for my hair to loc up first.
Great question! I would suggest you wait until your hair locs up first before you start doing two-strand twists. You run the risk of marrying your locs, and being thicker than you likely intended.
You can air dry but be careful with that because the dampness can create an environment for mold. And the cotton shirt works very similarly to regular towel. I dry with the cotton towel to take up most of the moisture, albeit not all of it.
The jury is still out on that one! Some say it can thin the locs out if you keep twisting them in different directions each time but if you decide to just retwist to the left all the time, it should be okay.
@@justtija yeah I think I’m gonna retwist them to the left that’s what’s comfortable for me. I was gonna go to the salon each time but I can do them myself so I’ll leave some money thank you ❤️❤️❤️
It wasn’t as informative when doing the 2 strand twist looks like your just twisting without saying you have to pinch the hair and turn it as your twisting but other good video
@@mividabrazy9104 Oh thank you! you two-strand twist in the opposite direction so the fresh retwist doesn't unravel. I am sure it can be done in the same direction, but I have gotten the best results doing it this way.
@@justtija i just tried it and it works! thats crazy how alot of people dont know that... even my loctician would say it would unravel and it was probably cause she didnt twist the opposite direction
