Thank you Lisa for all your videos!! I have been following your teaching now for about a month. I can’t believe all the changes I see and others see as well. I wear a wide brimmed hat and milk of magnesia every night. I don’t wear foundation or concealer they are all gone out of my makeup. Now it’s just eyeliner and mascara. What mascara do you recommend?

I love it also, my favorite product thus far is the classic face cleanser. This stuff goes so far! I’ve never been able to only use a pea-dime size and make it spread as far as I can with this cleaner! I haven’t tried one product that I have a complaint on, each one is gold! I’ve seen vast improvements on my skin and I’ve only been using them for a week. I’m above and beyond impressed. Finally getting some of my confidence back.

I've always chosen wide brimmed hats and walked with umbrellas and even wear long sleeved shirts over caring about applying sunscreens for short intended exposure (at least consistently since my 30's). My mother is a Red head. My skin can scream in the sun. It's just always been the priority over sunscreen use because sometimes just walikng out to the backyard for 5 minutes is all want to do, I don't need sunscreen for that. There are hats at all my doors for years now. Because my skin was so sensitive, I could see and feel the differences immediately without them. I do wish though. I had not been enticed by tanning beds in the 90's... It's ok to live and learn. I always appreciate the glimmers of hope I feel from your advice and videos. Eh, I'm only just 51. As long as I hydrate well, there's time to work on my skin. 28 days at a time...🌈

Hi Lisa. Thank you for this video.❤ After going to the ewg site and checking out what the ingredients were in my favourite day cream, I ended up throwing it out. 😢 I try to stick to serums and moisturizers with safe ingredients. Because of my uneven skin tone on my face I like to wear foundation. What are your thoughts on Josie Maran argan daily moisturizer SPF 47?
@PeachesSkinCare
@PeachesSkinCare 7 месяцев назад
Luv🧡 Good morning ☀️ One thing I want you to understand and I tell this to many new clients, is that when you go to the EWG site they don’t tell you how much of an ingredient is used in a product or why. They just scare you. An example would be that we use Phenoxyethanol has a preservative. It is less than one percent of a VAT of our product, and it keeps the product from growing fungus and bacteria. many people will tell you they use a natural form of a preservative , however, it isn’t truthful. We tried radish root, and the fact is after two years we still had bacteria and fungal growth. We are accompanied that prides ourselves on a full ingredient list, most will only give you the ingredients they want you to see. My point…the foundation you wear and many times the sunscreen you wear and many times the food you eat is doing so much more harm than a drop of something that keeps a product from going bad or creating something that can harm you . So, with regards to the foundation, no foundation is good. It doesn’t matter how natural it claims to be. Look at my before, and Afters and you will see that we can create that you don’t have to cover up I hope this encouraged you and I am so grateful you chose to be here today Luv I hope you choose to stay🍑🧡🙌🏻Lisa
@PeachesSkinCare
@PeachesSkinCare 7 месяцев назад
The spf won’t matter if the sunscreen isn’t made well. If you are using the one with zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, it should be just fine. Those are the only two ingredients I allow on my client skin. 😉
@MadameX_
@MadameX_ 7 месяцев назад
Hi Lisa This is an interesting take and I appreciate you! However, my experience is that when I lived at sea level I did not have any noticeable sun damage on my face. I did not wear a hat or sunscreen every day - only at the beach. I have lived at 5600 feet in Arizona for the last 18 years and have lots of dark spots on my face. I always wore a broad brim hat when I went out on a hike or walking around, but not sunscreen every time. Then my aesthetician pointed out the milasmas and I started wearing the sunscreen every day AND the hat. I have been diligent about my skin care and some spots have gone away but others are more stubborn. What part do you think elevation plays? And what about all the light refraction that hits your face under the hat?
@PeachesSkinCare
@PeachesSkinCare 7 месяцев назад
That’s my point if you go outside and you don’t wear a wide brimmed hat or zinc oxide and titanium dioxide sunscreen, you’re going to discolor or have sun damage. I don’t think it’s about where you live, unless you live closer to the equator as much as how you take care of your skin and the skin care products you’re using and the sunscreen. I hope that answered your question? loved the comment. Have a beautiful day.🙌🏻🧡🍑Lisa was

Hi Lisa: Can you please give your opinion on whether physical sunscreen is needed to protect against blue light from computers and phones? I've read that, even when not going outside, we still need to apply a physical sunscreen when on the computer for long periods, as I often am, for the blue light protection. So for that reason, I apply a physical sunscreen every morning as the last layer of my skincare. I'm really interested to know what you think about this. Many thanks! Btw, I just found your channel the other day and have been watching many videos. You are an excellent speaker and presenter of information.
@PeachesSkinCare
@PeachesSkinCare 5 месяцев назад
Caroline🧡 Welcome. I find it ridiculous if I am honest. Unless you are sitting in front of your computer screen for eight hours a day I don’t know that there is enough proof and studies showing that it can be as damaging as people are saying. I think that many people try to frighten you so that you will buy their products. When you use antioxidants and excellent skin care, your skin becomes so healthy that it can fight against many of the issues in your environment. Applying sunscreen is absolutely fine if you want to. I just do not think that you need to be wearing it all day every day. Many of the studies show issues in general with a lot of the cell phones and computer light that sunscreen would not prevent. I hope this encouraged you and I appreciate you for being here and I do hope you choose to stay Caroline🙌🏻🍑🧡Lisa

Hi Lisa, in a previous video, you mentioned that you don’t believe in needing to use 1/4 tsp of sunscreen on our face. Why is that and how much do you feel is sufficient? Is one thin coat enough? Thank you and have a wonderful week 🧡🍑
@PeachesSkinCare
@PeachesSkinCare 7 месяцев назад
Lynne🧡 I simply believe that regardless of how much sunscreen you put on your skin if you are not caring for your skin or wearing a wide brim hat, it is not going to matter. People tell you that need to do at least a quarter teaspoon or more and I find that a bit ridiculous because it is not going to keep your skin From thriving and being healthy and there is no way that you can completely cover your whole face. I also absolutely believe that the rise and skin cancers is because of so many of the bad sunscreens. I also believe it is because people do not protect their skin from the sun by wearing a wide brimmed hat and caring for their skin, and wearing sunscreen that actually works like a zinc oxide or zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. I hope this helped Lynne🍑🙌🏻🧡Lisa

Jackie🧡 Good morning 🌞 YES! Use it AM and PM in your nose and ears and bellybutton. Staph starts in the nose and so I have always had my clients. Be sure to keep their nose is very clean. P🧡 Good morning ☀️ In my opinion, it does only because many of the powders have so many chemicals in them or things that aren’t good for your skin. If I put a powder on my face, I will break out immediately. If your skin is making too much oil, it is likely because you are using some thing that is dehydrating it or too active and your skin is making oil to save itself . The skin is an oil loving Organ and needs oil. Some of my aestheticians will use cornstarch as a powder, try that and see if it helps. It will cut down on oil and it is very healing. Just don’t use a lot. Try to always work towards letting your skin show. I am so proud of you for wanting to listen and learn, and I’m here if you need me . Have an amazing day 🙌🏼🍑🧡Lisa

@PeachesSkinCare makes perfect sense since I'm presently on isotretinoin but I still experience the dreaded grease face as quickly as an hour after completing my skincare routine. Why is Phenoxyethanol used in so many cosmetic products?
@PeachesSkinCare
@PeachesSkinCare 7 месяцев назад
MRS🧡 Welcome☀️ Phenoxyethanol is a preservative. If you don’t use a preservative your products will absolutely grow mold, fungus and bacteria. You always have to remember that you are not seeing, How Much is used. We use less than 1% of the whole batch. Gwenth Paltrow demonized Phenoxyythanol and claims as do others to use radish root. Trust me, we tried it for two years and could never prevent bacteria, fungus and mold from growing. Also, remember that many ingredients that sound bad are actually naturally sourced and when we do have to use something like Phenoxyethanal we do not use it lightly and we are incredibly mindful. We also give our full ingredients list were many companies only give you the ingredients they want you to see. I hope this answers your questions. Thank you for choosing to be here Mrs🍑🧡🙌🏻Lisa
