I tried this out the other day online and couldn’t get it to work but this gives me an idea to go in practice to get it down, never thought of doing that lol
Ahaha I put it on my pwr forward with puck on a string and unstop force as zone ability and it’s crazy lol. Either fly by the guy or just truck them if they feel confident, glad this exists, fun to play haha
I think they should remove back at ya and just allow everyone to reverse hit AS if its equipped and just make the effectiveness entirely based on balance, strgth, hitting, stats etc. The mechanic is really cool bul making people spend a point on it in eashl doesn't make alot of sense since its kindve a niche trait and you're better off using something else most of the time. Hopefully the improve on this next year definitely a neat addition.
I haven't been able to get it down yet and I don't play against many aggressive small builds bc of how strong poke checks are. It's very niche but it is a super fun when it works. I think it's equivalent to walking someone on the faceoff.
How??! This is one of the easy things to pull off in terms of combo buttons. Lol you better get with it unless if you enjoy playing like it's still 2009-14.
I've been wondering why there wasn't a truck stick I guess you'd say thanks. I'm new to Nhl 22 played 10 games since 19 lol. I'm playing on All star and super star 🌟. This will help a lot ty
I've messed around with BAP series' in the past, but I just never end up finishing them. I'm just not that big a fan of offline game modes to be honest, I get bored quick. That being said if GM Connected ever makes a comeback I will definitely be doing a series with that.
I keep on trying but can’t get it Maybe bc I use hybrid is it only in online also does hustling have an effect on it like do I have to not be hustling to get it
@@llamapenNHL yea I understand that. Been playing for years, sometimes seems like the same old stuff won’t change 😂. That said I’ve played 21 the last 3-4 nights and have been having an absolute blast (the good players might’ve all went to 22)😅
Scroll over to the "more" tab on the main menu, go to training and practice, then go to team practice, scroll down and set it for 1 offensive player and 3 defensive players, then press continue.
@@llamapenNHL do you know of any players you can use in practice mode that have Back At Ya as a zone (gold) ability? ps great work as always, love your vids
It's not currently offered as a silver trait, although it has been one in the past and will probably be introduced as the seasons progress. I'm pretty sure the enforcer or enforcer D can get it as a gold trait but then you gotta play enforcer.
The track in this video is from the RU-vid audio library. This particular track does not require attribution. But if you are just curious the track is called Righteous by Silent Partner.
I don't like reverse hitting. Because if your opponent is a smaller guy and has any skill what so ever.. he will be going for a poke check not a body check. And in the event a lesser skilled player tried to body check you. You can just skate around them. It's a very cool ability though.
@@rf2642 I was saying it seems like it's really balanced in terms of power vs skill. If you're a big guy with the puck you're best option is to reverse hit qnd power through them. Small and speedy? Skate around them. It doesn't matter how the defender is built its how the player is controlling them and how they play (poke vs body vs positioning)
@@zacknelson6630 Honestly I think this game lends to checking too much. You know the stationary side step deke? The one you use by tapping L1. Well you can't even use that to avoid a check anymore because the checking in Nhl22 is like a damn missle lock. People literally just hold down the check button and it essentially auto follows you. Kind of op but that's just my opinion.
