I think Joel's sentimental side is incredibly sweet ;) And I have taught quite a few kiddos to ride their bikes (in my nanny years and as an aunt) by using the "hands off" approach. I've found the best way too do it is to let them practice pushing themselves along until they find their balance or giving them a gentle, but quick enough push to give them a little balance and let them go. They really do learn to find their own balance more quickly that way and with a bike like he has where he can touch the ground easily falling isn't too much of an issue. But I would definitely recommend getting a helmet! I've done the holding on to the back of the bike thing a few too many times always with the same leaning results.

My mom's springer spaniel, Pebbles, passed away 3 years ago. She had white cream fur with black big markingsbut her snout had black and brown little spots, misshappen markings that I thought looked like Pebbles. Anyways when I saw Pepper I immediately showed my mom and she loved it, made her sad but happy. My mom jumped to when Pepper jumped and snatched the treat out of Olivia's hand, haha. My mom's Pebbles was really sweet, she was a daddy's girl and waited for my mom's husbad to come home and she had to go where he went, his little shadow. She loved to play with bouncy balls and as a puppy she chewed up cardboard boxes and things that had stuffing, we think she ate the stuffing out of the cushions because there was not any trace of the stuffing. Once she got through her puppy stage she was good, she matured and was happy. Spaniels are a good variety of breeds.

Bonnie, the dog Pepper was very nervous and insecure - she snapped on Olivia because Olivia hold her hand over the head. Also there is this nervous sound pepper makes. In the next scene is Olivia on the bench and Pepper is curious and locks for Food, but she got scard again as Olivia bend down - this time Pepper take off, this is very good. The dog showd you now, she has a problem with Kids/Food around - please respect this and give her the space she needs...before something happends with the Kids - the dog only can give signs and the last one is to bite, and if this happends the dog will pay for it. Please dont take this sign to ease - I`m sure she is a good dog but she told you now that Kids make her insecure. Perhaps is it only by visitors - but then the owner has to protect his dog. I dont wana be mean - I work with dogs and dont want anybody get hurt. Sorry for my english - I love watching you and your family...normaly I would not comment because I see only a blink of your life, but I would love to aid all of you (dog includet) - lots of greetings from switzerland :) PS: I took my daugther`s account to comment

I can totally relate to the blanket! I made my husband a blanket a few Christmases ago. It was left outside, last Fall, after my son was bitten by a spider. That blanket stayed outside, on the ground, for a week! I was upset with myself that I had forgotten about it, and decided to toss it. My husband found it and to this day reminds me of it!

He was staying with my parents for a weekend and my dad taught him to surprise mommy. Also, love the "standing in the corner" punishment and how Boston just stands there without moving. Too funny.

My dad does this thing where he waits until his shoes have holes in them and are dirty beyond belief. Then he gets a new pair of shoes and keeps his other pair as 'dog walking shoes'. He tried to keep a pair that made noise everytime he stepped because the sole of the shoe was coming off. Everytime we tried to throw them away he swore they 'still had some life left in them.' 😂😂😂 We eventually just threw them away. Leave it to my dad to try and keep a worthless pair of shoes. 😂

LOl I was such an easily embarrassed kid. I would've been sobbing if my mom was laughing at me like Bonnie was lol. I have a five month old, can't wait to see if he is more like me or if he won't notice the laughter as much.

My dad taught all the kids in our neighborhood how to ride their bikes without training wheels. His number one tip was to wrap a beach towel around the child's waist and hold the extra fabric tightly in the back and use that to support the child while running behind. Seriously, try it!!! It helps a lot!

I had to laugh at the cruise part, because I do the same thing. 😂 Every time my husband says he got us something, I'm always wishful thinking that's it's something I've really been wanting and it always turns out to be something that's more for him than anyone haha! Also, get that boy some elbow/knee pads and a helmet so you'll be able to worry a little less about the falls while he's still learning to ride. ;)

How sweet! I made a tie blanket for my now-husband before we were dating and sprayed it with my perfume. I definitely wouldn't want it thrown away and am sentimental about those things. But it would be hard after it got used for construction and was gross, haha!
