@@THERAPCOACH yes your right i got lots of potential . i appreciate u making these vids. I uaually have good ideas coming with flows for a whole 4 bar when scatting i cant stick to one cuz i dont think its good enough.. Any advice for scatting?

uknown kid a good thing I do is I’ll use the first one try to put some words to it and if it doesn’t work just move on to the next one. A lot of the time is what happens is you’ll come up with so many different scats and it’s hard to choose. Go with your instinct and develop one before there are multiple ones to choose from if that makes any sense. Another thing I do is play the beat and use voice record on my phone and pick the one that sounds the best. Hope this helps

uknown kid not necessarily if you’re scatting you usually just want to find words/phrases to accommodate that particular flow. If your words aren’t fitting in the flow try rephrasing. This helps two fold because not only are you within the flow you’re wording things differently than you usually would and that makes for fresher rhymes if that makes sense

This is so good! A lot of the how tos and tutorials i searched p talk a lot about writing and the concept and the idea and the longterm "will you ever make it big? Will you ever be a celebrity?" stuff when it comes to basic instruction, but you're the only one that gets down into the nitty gritty and shows, through example, what you're doing, how you do it, and how to ACTUALLY start, rather than just telling someone to "start rapping". So good, i vibed along and i got so hype with you when i recognized you were speaking the sensory language here, the "do as i do" language. I loved it. Thank you so much for the video.

@@kobiecarroll3169 honestly some things are kinda working more but not fully in freestyle. I gotta put more time aside in writing more and stuff. I've Ben back and forth with also learning to make beats and stuff so I've been all over the place. Don't have a full song yet but I've been reading alot of books to learn more. I make everything way to complicated for myself is the problem but I deff haven't stopped and don't plan to. And I'm hoping by the next time I'm asked this 10 months later I'll have something for people to enjoy and raise up more energy.

Very helpful video thanks so much. I constantly said to myself “I just don’t have the voice for rap” then I thought I’ll just try making one song and it was so ass. Went back to saying it was my voice and I didn’t understand what being on beat even meant. But look at brother Ali he’s got a bit of an odd voice but it works well with his flow and how he uses it. You chose a perfect person for the thumbnail. Young thug is the perfect example of a rapper with great flows. Thug is a flow king. Even when he says stupid shit, it always sounds good because he flows with almost every beat perfectly and I love artist that do that. Drake is a good example of a rapper with good flows too. And even chris brown has good flows on songs

if you have a sony camera, you can set your focus mode to AF-C that way it'll sense where you are in the frame and only focus on your face! if you have a canon, the focus setting is called AI SERVO
