Just took my two 2022 Spark Trixx out this past weekend for their maiden voyage. The most fun I've ever had on a PWC. Best PWC on the market for your money.
great vid! I like that it teaches more about the spark trixx and especially the how to parts of doing different tricks, I want a spark trixx of my own now!
@@aidanguimond5552 They are tiny. and You will get use to the speed of that ski so quick youll be wanting a bigger one. Dont go under a 230hp supercharged as far as size. GTR, WAKE, GTX, RXPX, or RXTX. I have a 2020 GTR 230.
I think all us spark owners who ride hard have experienced the thumb cut haha, heals for a few days, cut it back open. I had a constant scab for a solid 4-5 months. I have nice gloves this season. Lol
My first jet ski was a trixx 3up and it's nothing but a pain in the ass. If your a taller/bigger person, then you're going to feel like you're going to tip over all the time. It's also a pain in the ass to work on since you have to take the whole top off just to replace the spark plugs. I also think the 3up is false advertisement. Unless it's three very small children, there is no way to get two full grown adults without tipping over. I traded it in for a bigger GTX 170 and it's been much better.
Hey man. Time before text and it will bring the timestamp into the timeline bar unless you want to keep it in the description only, nice vid man your killing it!!
Hey, great video! I just ordered two of the 3up versions. Do you know if the extended area in the back is going to make it more difficult for wheelies and other tricks? Not looking to go all crazy, but I do wanna have fun. Thinking I may need to change one of them to the 2up.
The extended platform will definitely make it harder to wheelie. It’s possible but not as fun. You can always remove the extended platform and it’ll ride like a 2up
Hey when doing the 180s of of wakes do you have to have the trim up or down? I have a 2015 spark but it’s not a trixx and I can’t move my trim. But wanna start trying them of wakes
are you 2up and 3up both trixx editions? I am a rookie wanting to buy one for the first time. Is the 3up a lot harder to pull off tricks and stuff? I need a 3up to be legally able to tow people in my area, but I never see many people reviewing the 3ups in videos. Any comparison between your models is appreciated
@@scottyflamingo1413 trixx is for trixx since they are lighter. Sparks are super fun and good for begginers. Get sparks then work up to a trixx. Wait for the newer models
I got a Seadoo XP for Graduation back in 96 and had it about 2 summers and sold it. Well I haven't had a Seadoo or boat or anything since then and I'm looking to get something just to go riding with some coworkers who have a couple waverunners. I don't need alot of speed, mainly will be just me, or me and my wife, or me and my daughter so something for 2 people Max. Also will be in freshwater only. Would this be a good buy?
Love the vids man. Just had a quick question, will the ski naturally collect water inside and have to be drained if left out in rain? Or if left at a marina? I went to my marina today and my nose of the ski was wayyy too high I noticed and the back was sitting way too low. Took it out and drained her & now I Should be good to go, no?
Did the rain water fill up the foot wells? You really shouldn’t have any water inside the hull. It all depends on how much water, was the jet ski submerged, and was it fresh or salt water. If it is a minor amount you should be fine but it’s a good amount of water I’d look into it further
Hey man I don’t know if you have a clue but yesterday I was pushing my jet ski out and it wouldn’t start open the battery area then it started to work got gas was driving a little bit probably for about 10 minutes then all of a sudden my jet ski does a long beep and says check engine and shuts off and doesn’t start I have a 2019 spark trixx with about 48 hours and I checked my oil and looked pretty clean
Is battery still good? Are the battery terminals tight? If you have Facebook I also suggest joining the seadoo spark riders group. You should still have a warranty though so if it is not simple reach out to your dealer. I hope it’s a simple fix, that really sucks dude
Thanks for the video! Definitely need gloves for these because mine rips up my thumbs from how they have the bar rubber on either side. I usually bleed everytime from it rubbing so much haha
Great video, thank you! I plan on renting a Trixx in Ocean City MD next month and riding on the Bay. But one concern I have.... When the trim is way up and you’re doing wheelies, can you see what’s in front of you? Or do you have to look around the sides of the jet ski to get a view of what’s around you?
Just a notice. If you are jumping waves, doing wheelies, 180s, those are for fun. If you are doing stupid stuff like hand off the bars during a jump, handstands etc, those are for showing off. Showing off is uber dorky and makes you look like a tool.
Awesome vid but with the sucking up stones. If you do you will hear it so shut it off quickly and see if it falls out or if you can get it. Then start up. If only going half power just gun it and it shoots it out. Well at least that works for me.
I am thinking about buying a spark trixx but i live in norway so there is only like 3 weeks where the ocean is warm. So can you ride this without getting soaked?
Awesome video. Definitely great for beginners like myself. Any recommendations on a three up for two adults and a teenager (teenager is about 160lbs). Having two jet skis would be ideal but want to start off with one ski first. Thank you in advance
I have a seadoo 155 and thinking I want the rxpx 300 for power and pure speed also the turning is much better on them and I would trade my old one in or I could get a spark trixx as well as my 155 but then I’m missing out on the speed side of things
I love my trixx so I would always recommend it, but the rxpx is a whole different ball park and it looks like an epic machine. Tough decision for you to make
Thanks for the vid! I really want to get one for next season. I have never had a jetski and I think the Trixx would be a fantastic starter unit for me. (mid life crisis here lol). Question though - if possible can you do videos like this with a 3up model if you know anyone that has one. I need a 3up if I want to legally tow anyone for tubing etc in my area, but I am afraid the extra extended length will make some of this tricks and abilities a LOT harder to do. I cant really find much footage of the 3up going out there and having fun like you did. Just looking for your thoughts on that. Thanks!
The 3 up does make a bit more difficult to do wavies and such as it does not come up as easy. I have seen people take the rear deck off the 3up, still has the 3 up seat, and it then performs similar to a 2 up. From what I heard, it is pretty easy to take the rear deck off if you want to have a 3up but experience the 2up riding.
@@ShredShack sweet. That's a great idea. However of course I cant have as much weight on there, but will at least be legal to have another person on there for towing people.
@@Secondadmendment lol it is an exercise for sure and super fun. But um 260 muscle and I can lift a lot but getting on the ski is one of the hardest for me for sure.
I'm same.. 260 but all flab.. lol I am looking to buy one for first time. I think I might need the 3up with extra weight ability so I dont swamp the thing trying to get back on it from the water. lol
@@scottyflamingo1413 Im 6'3 250 (mostly fat..). The step on the back does me NO good at all. I basically have to try to crawl up from the back of it. I look rediculous doing it... but it works fine and Im able to do it.
7.9 gallons is roughly 30 litres, 60 Miles Per Hour is roughly 120 Kilometres Per Hour, and if you fall off a jet ski in the ocean pray there are no great white or tiger sharks waiting for jet skiers to fall off, Serious Face On! A 3+ meter great white or tiger shark can and do swim in waist deep water!
