Welcome to our channel! 🛹 In this video, we're teaching little 6 year old Cashy the essential skill every skateboarder should master: Rolling off a curb. Whether you're just starting your skating journey or looking to level up your skills, understanding how to tackle curbs is a game-changer.
Rolling off a curb is the first trick where you will leave the ground on your skateboard. You will learn how to un-weight your body and then land back down on the skateboard while moving. The balance and skills that are gained doing this will be needed when you start doing ollies.
🔥 Why is this skill so crucial? 🔥
1️⃣ Safety First: Learning to roll off a curb safely can prevent nasty spills and injuries. We'll show you the proper technique to keep you shredding confidently without fear.
2️⃣ Stylish Moves: Curb rolls are the foundation for many stylish tricks like ollies, manuals, flip tricks, and grinds. Master this basic move, and you'll unlock a world of possibilities for your skateboarding repertoire.
3️⃣ Urban Exploration: Skating is all about freedom, and curbs are everywhere in urban landscapes. Being able to handle them gracefully means you can explore your city with ease.
4️⃣ Building Confidence: Conquering curbs boosts your confidence on your board. It's an achievable milestone that sets you on the path to becoming a well-rounded skater.
5️⃣ Progression: This is where it all begins. Even the most advanced skaters started with mastering the basics. Learning to roll off a curb is your first step toward more advanced street skateboarding.
In this video, you will see how Nick helps Cashy overcome common mistakes, teach her technique step-by-step, and offer her valuable tips so she can be confident to do this off any curb. Our goal is to empower skaters of all levels to enhance their skills and have a blast while doing it!

"I want to do it myself." Go, girl! You are so amazing. Listen to instructions from someone who actually knows what they are doing and practice it unafraid of mistakes until you get it. I was always afraid of mistakes at your age (and clear into adulthood) I was never taught that mistakes were ok, that it was how you learned what not to do. You have amazing parents to teach you that it is ok to not be perfect at whatever you are learning to do, that you are perfect just the way you are. That you will get eventually. Very smart parents. I always look forward to seeing your vids!

Really like the way Cashy makes the decision about when to try solo. Cashy, hope you're having a lot of fun while you're doing this - cause I'm having a lot of fun watching you all. Enjoy yourselves family.

I kinda want to cry gosh that's amazing parenting. Constant positive affirmation, constantly remarking what she did good, constant motivation and constant support to make her feel safe. This is so important, there's so much love behind her. You can just notice in her face, words and actions she's truly loved, she's truly being taken care of, she feels safe and confident. Watching this heals parts of my inner child that was constantly neglected, scared, feeling unconfident, never receiving reaffirmation, only remarked everything wrong. This is how i should talk to myself from now on. I have to care for my inner child. You know, in every book or therapy they will tell you "talk to yourself as if you were talking to your inner kid". It's so hard when all the examples you have in your memory of being talked to as a child are rarely reassuring. Having this as an ACTUAL example like "hey, you should talk to yourself like this" is so powerful to me, and so important. THANK YOU for sharing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I know none of you is perfect, but i genuinely adore how much you try ❤ all love and blessings, to you both mom and dad and to Cashy, even more than what you all already are ❤❤❤

I'm 75 years old. I used to be an avid skier and surfer... used to be are the key words... I've really enjoyed watching Cashy (she's fearless) develop on the slopes and now on the skateboard. Where she'll be in skill in the years to come I can only imagine. Who knows if I'll still be around when this little gem becomes someone to reckon with in competition. Keep it up princess

Adults, with love and patience, can teach any baby to grow well and beautifully in anything. Thank you for the love and patience given by dad and mom to their precise daughter. (traducido con ayuda del traductor google, espero se entienda, gracias)

Lol…Cashy was so excited trying to tell mom what she did, she was stumbling over her words. 💕 Gotta say though, while these are fun to watch…can’t wait to see her back on the snow, on her snowboard. Yeah, I know…it’ll be here before we know it! Just hope your knee is up to pare by then, Nick. Considering how much improvement she made last season, she is going to be k.i.l.l.i.n.g. it and you and Whitney are probably going to have a hard time keeping up. Have you bought a drone yet, in case you can’t?
