So you think you’re ready for soft washing? I’m sure you are it’s easy AF! In this video you’ll see what basic equipment you need and simple techniques.
I subbed right away when you included us ladies. You did a great job explain this for real, I watched so many other people waste a lot of time fumbling around without actually explaining anything
Hey man just subbed. Liking the content! Just got my LLC and legal stuff done. Now nailing down exactly what equipment I want to get. Could you make an in depth video about your setup? How its all connected, how the hose reels are installed on your truck ect. If not no worries but i'd love to see it. Thanks again and keep up the good videos!
The ending got me dead asf it was all outta no where i was eating my breakfast watching your soft washing video went to the kitchen to put up my dish i come back to you doing doughnuts with scremo music i looked around my room like who tf put this on n i saw it was the same video i started busting out laughin lololol
I live in Miami Dade and work for a company who does this. We rinse the roof off with our 8gpm machine and the left over organic growth just comes off like butter under hot water
No lie your work looks great and you should definitely check out pricing in your area.. From the looks of some of those houses you may be undercharging quite a bit and that could hurt you for future services but if you're happy with the pay who cares 🤣 hopefully you keep it up and I'll be following your journey for sure!
These are best soft washing videos on RU-vid. Straight, easy, to the point. You have the gift of communication. Question - when you lay down the SH on the roof, do you wait 10 mins and then rinse it, or do you leave it without rinsing?
I’m glad you feel that way Bro, and honestly when it comes to ladder safety I’d go somewhere else for advice. But I like to do the lowest part of the roof and somewhere I could get good angle on the ladder
Being in the 305, 954 area - you'll have lots of work. Congrats. Especially with all those HOA homes with strict rules. Make sure to cover your azz legally. You'll do a job for some jerky that will definitely screw you over in a heartbeat. Don't trust any of them. Lastly, charge more. Although your solo, don't be afraid to charge more. When you start working on the larger, more expensive neighborhoods, the owner will pay by the quality of the job, not the cheapest price. Good Luck.. Keep the videos coming.
No sé si no entendí bien, ¿Al final lo enjuagas después de dejarlo reposar? y ¿La maquina proporciona o la mezcla que hiciste la tira directa? Muchas gracias por tu video y agradeceria me respondieras.
Hey man! Good video. I’m in Southern California. We only power wash the tiles because the build up is so thick. How would soft washing work on tiles with really heavy build up?
@@servanospressurewashingllc1477 The tiles usually have a layer of dirt and algae/moss that’s about 1/8” thick. After we power wash it all off it goes in the rain gutters and ground. Then we have to wash all that sludge out of the gutters and off the ground. So I’m wondering if the stuff you wash off is very little on the thick side versus just discoloration. Do you encounter much debris coming off the roof?
Before you do a work for someone do you give them like a contract to sign like how does that work and for the legal side of things do you make them sign a liability contract or some that they won’t be able to sue you
No I don’t, honestly I’m terms of legal stuff I’m not the guy to turn to but if there’s a dude that seems like who would sue me for some bs I just won’t work for them
You should definitely get liability insurance. You will avoid a headache of paperwork and meetings w lawyers and pissed off clients should something happen or someone gets hurt. Also, most commercial work will require you submit a copy of your business liability insurance prior to any work being done. Better safe than sorry.
In terms of equipment you can use all displayed in the video. You would just need to bring the amount of bleach down. A lot of people downstream for house washing but not my favorite
What were you doing before this? You seem to have a bit of money beforehand to afford all the stuff including the truck. Any tips if I just have a car?
So Yes and No I did have A lot of money saved up to buy the truck but I did start off with a much lighter setup and slowly made my way to this. I was working at a covid site with the national guard ( good money! ) but what kind of car is it?
Since your set up is in your truck. How do you store your truck from the weather and if you bring your truck out in public do you just leave your pump and tank in the back at all times.
If it’s raining I’ll try and throw a tarp over it all but sometimes it’ll get rained on and yeah I just leave everything on the bed. The pump is screwed onto my tank and the tank is ratchet strapped down. And I’ve got some bike locks on the pressure washer and ladder
@@wesleytrent8003 negative my main concern is keeping the chemical as far away as possible from the pressure washer. And keeping up with the maintenance and it’s running great
@@servanospressurewashingllc1477 okay I appreciate the response. Just wanted to make sure I didn’t have to worry about my equipment getting destroyed by the sun and rain. I’ll just try and put a tarp over it when I’m not using it.
@@wesleytrent8003 of course bro, that was one of my main concerns at first. I was taking the equipment off and on everyday but I just said screw it and it’s been good just have to keep an eye on everything. But good luck bro!
Water SH and surfactant or if it’s not a steep roof you can do just water and SH but just water and surfactant isn’t gonna do anything, Surfactant doesn’t really clean it just makes the SH cling to the angled surface longer. A lot of people use laundry detergent as surfactant as well (Pyrex, gain, etc.)
It really is rip for real but that’s something I haven’t really looked into I just take my time on the roof and never play it too confidently and I feel safe
@Servanos Pressure Washing LLC I usually toss a rope over the opposite side of the roof I'm working, tie off to my harness, then move the rope as I go. Also, chimneys work great for trying off. Stay safe bro. Good work by the way!
@@servanospressurewashingllc1477 so no rinse for shingles cause I live in cali it hardly rains so it really doesn’t get that rinse from rain everyone talks about… I done a white shingle roof last week.. with proper set up I rinsed it..it looks better than leaving it.. I never done a Spanish tile roof cause allot of them don’t have gutters and so I don’t really do those yet.. anyways I use 5% with any surfactant.. I want to smash Spanish tile roofs too though.. What do you say about my thinking..appreciate your feed back
@@valdovazquez6636 so I do rinse shingles and metal roofs all the time, when it comes to that Spanish tile just be careful on the dirty parts it gets REALLY slippery! I would say try to knock a portion out from ladder or ground and then work your way around
