Strip off all that trash painting and repaint factory color. Then it's a cool car. Had one when brand new. Straight 6 auto trans, & no power anything. A good solid car.
It’s not even paint. A heat gun will take it right off. Cool is a matter of opinion. It wasn’t considered a cool car in its day but it is somewhat cool now just because it’s a survivor. It was taken care of.
In the early '70s my mom drove one similar that had giant flowers painted on it in typical '70s style. V8, manual, and posi. It was the only vehicle we had that could get around on the muddy farm roads at times.
I'm not sure how they "ruined"it¿ If your talking about the graphics, I'm gonna tell ya it's the same thing as a vinyl wrap. It can be removed anytime without doing any harm to the vehicle!!!! Besides the Owner of the car likes it and that's all that matters! Cheers.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and I like this Rambler. It's in good condition. We had the same yr station wagon black/red. Me and Dad liked it but Mom hated it so Dad had no choice but to sell it 🫤
The Rodney Dangerfield of the automotive world. It’s a far cry from a Buick Riviera. That lady doesn’t know what engine it has without looking because they came with several different engine options. She doesn’t even know how many cylinders it has although six would be a pretty good guess. It was the econobox of its day.
We had a brand new 1963 rambler 660 wagon with inline 6 auto, it would run hot in the bay of an eye had to finally trade it on a used Oldsmobile, just to get rid of it. Body was great but engine and transmission were junk.
Not a BUICK, dude. And ma’am, you may be a little, well, a lot, mistaken. I’m buying my 2nd ‘63 in a few. I can fix it with my eyes close I’ve got a bit of experience with them.
Oh my lord.... that is disgusting. its not a subaru what the hell was the owner thinking putting those stupid anime stickers on it? hahaha also a "Buick Riviera" what is that woman on about? hahahaha its an AMC Rambler
@@user-qf2xb8fz2b they were kinda the laughing stock cars back in the 70s... gremlins pacers ramblers... not many around today for good reason not well built
Ok when it comes to the 70's and the Gremlin and Pacer, I see where your coming from. But the Amc's of the later 50's and 60's were very good cars. They were a small idependent company formed when Nash and Hudson merged together. So everything other than the big 3 like Studebaker, Nash, Hudson, Packanrd, Kaiser-Frazer well built? They were and because there are not many around now is because a huge number were not built like the big 3 produced. Cheers!
@@martinedwards4522 You mean like some Chrysler's, Ford's, and Chevy's? That sort of issue is around these days. Either you like certain cars, or you don't. But that's personal to you.
Cute little Rambler, Beep Beep, could be a sleeper, and have a big hog block in it, or a 6cyl, (note some of those old 6s, could fly) People see Rambler, and read Riviera🫤🤦🏻🤷♂️
