If you honestly think that Bo was dominating world trade at this point in the game, you’re dumb; here’s why 1) bo does NOT control all of the trade centers and estuaries in the ivory coast, swimmy already controls two of them, and (by someone else count b/c I’m too lazy to go into the video and count) bo controls 4 trade centers, with 2 trade centers and 2 estuaries just sitting there ripe for the picking. Does bo have an advantage in trade? Obviously. Is his power in West Africa absolute? No, not by a fucking long shot. 2) Owning trade node provinces is not the only way to get trade power in the region. For countries like Spain and Portugal (the two people bitching most about the situation), their main center/node collection is one measly stop away from the Ivory Coast, which gives them huge benefits from downstream traders. Lightships also contribute hugely to controlling the trade. And if you honestly think it’s all over, then just privateer it to death, either you’re siphoning income, or you’re forcing bo to place ships on patrol while they could be doing something more productive, which is an indirect way of siphoning income. 3) Have you seen 11:41? Despite bo apparently holding an “insurmountable advantage” in the trade node, he controls a measly 33%, a big advantage? yes, irrecoverable? no shot. Especially when you consider there are still 4 major trade areas to be taken, swimmy has been spending time spazzing out in the Timbuktu node, and Greg has been sitting on his ass fucking up swimmy's game. Notice despite swimmy not deploying a single lightship in the region he still has 18% of trade power, and he can still take other trade centers and estuaries that bo doesn’t even seem interested in. But no, you’re right, I’ve never played one minute of this game and clearly have no idea what I’m talking about.
