It’s easy to run a Deep clean cycle on your purifier humidifier. Watch the video above or follow the steps below.
Your machine will alert you when a Deep clean cycle is due. Make sure you have 150g of citric acid to hand.
Step 1. Select the Deep clean cycle button to begin. Remove the filter covers and water tank.
Step 2. Remove the evaporator and place it in the water tank (remove gently to avoid spillages).
Step 3. Prepare the cleaning solution. Fill the water tank to halfway with cold water. Add 150 grams of citric acid. Then replace the cap and shake gently until the citric acid has dissolved. Place the evaporator back in the tank and fill to Max level.
Step 4. Replace the cap, secure the clips and wipe with a dry cloth.
Step 5. Return the tank and start the Deep clean cycle. When prompted by the LCD screen, press the Deep clean cycle button. A one-hour countdown will begin.
Step 6. When the Deep clean cycle is complete, remove the tank.
Step 7. Rinse the evaporator and tank with cold water.
Step 8. Fill the tank with cold water, replace the cap and wipe it with a dry cloth.
Step 9. Reinsert the evaporator and water tank. Click both halves of the filter together around the machine. A green tick on the machine's LCD screen indicates components have been replaced correctly.
Your Deep clean cycle is now complete and your machine can keep humidifying hygienically.
