You don't need to remove the "127.0.0.1 localhost" line from the hosts file Dary, you may add multiple hosts to same IP address without removing previous records. In fact, I feel like you shouldn't remove it in any case since it is the standard address/host pair for IPv4 loopback traffic and might negatively affect other installed programs on your system.
Hi Ali! You are completely right, I have no idea why it didn’t work when I tested it out. I just tested it again and it did work. Usually I try not to modify these files and find a different solution. I will pin your comment man, thanks! :)
am a self taught web developer my words can't comprehend how am grateful to your work, the tutorials are well defined explained and organized I will be looking for your future video's my question have been learning php/oop/laravel from your videos my aim to be a full stack mobile app developer should I learn dart/flutter or javascript taken in consideration the future and competition as a start up / junior developer????
In my opinion, competition doesn't really matter if your good in what you do. Have you search for the amount of jobs in your region for those programming languages?
@@codewithdary php laravel MySQL is most needed jobs and biggest language/framework in my country dart flutter got more attention lately and most of the job requires 0-2 years experience regarding JavaScript and it’s framework especially react most job needed are senior jobs 3-5 years+ front or full stack word press php laravel is just everywhere
Thank you so much sir, your tutorial in laravel and php as well, are a GEM. I need it to hear from an expert, as your self Dary, that XAMMP does not CONNECT WITH LARAVEL, thank for that point.
You are welcome! I prefer to use MySQL in the command line instead of phpmyadmin or a third party client. If you do prefer to use your PhpMyAdmin instead of the CLI, you can connect to your XAMPP. You indeed don't need it to run your project like PHP :)
can someone help me? this is what i get if i do run the command 'php artisan serve' "Your Composer dependencies require the following PHP extensions to be installed: dom, mbstring, xml, xmlwriteryigit@MSI:/mnt/c/"
I found this on Google: First of all, read the warning! It says do not run composer as root! Secondly, you're probably using Xammp on your local which has the required php libraries as default. But in your server you're missing ext-dom. php-xml has all the related packages you need. So, you can simply install it by running: sudo apt-get update sudo apt install php-xml Most likely you are missing mbstring too. If you get the error, install this package as well with: sudo apt-get install php-mbstring Then run: composer update composer require cviebrock/eloquent-sluggable
@@codewithdary Hi man, I'm here to tell you I fixed it using the composer guide instead of windows installation guide. But thanks anyways for taking your time to guide me aswell :)
