But cause of FB that must be for the most part android users. Whats your advice on tracking purchases etc from IOS users to make educated decisions when scaling/killing adsets?

@David Fogarty, a few times throughout this tutorial, you mention that there will be another "episode" with more advanced tips for facebook ads after you've made some sales on the Lemon Scrub. Have you already published that? I'm brand new to facebook ads (but obviously not new to RU-vid) and these are the best tutorials I've seen yet.
If you're after a more advanced tutorial for Facebook ads, you would be expecting to spend at least a few thousand per day. If you aren't at that stage yet, then I would consider you focusing just on working along the principles of this video.

Ad copy and ad creatives are definitely the most important part of ad development. As we approach Q4, we will need to test and optimise more creatives. I was wondering, what do you think of tools like Adbox for ad inspo? Understanding what it's working for other is definitely gonna save time testing creatives from scratch.
It's definitely helpful to get easy access to these ads if you're willing to pay for the service. Otherwise it's just a matter of doing the spying yourself via the facebook ad library on competitor and top end brands!

Facebook is moving towards broad based targetting now so it may be better to increase your audience sizes now. However this is always something to be tested rather than blind faith!

Hey DAVIE, great video as always. I have a question though: when you select metric like: VIEW, ADD TO CART, CHECKOUT. Why you select Cost not Total or Value. When you select purchase and ROAS why select TOTAL and Value, not Cost. sry for my bad english
You're asking questions based on different metrics. The pixel conversion helps to determine what type of customers you want to base your audience upon, where as the cost to value is another metric which aims at either finding purchases or the value of each purchase.

Since Facebook changed their rules around the health related products my ads results have plummeted 🙁 Any advice for me, it's a very niche market and finding the broad audiences not having nearly as much success. This depends on whether you've set it up as ABO or CBO. With CBO, it will readjust spending accordingly depending on the algorithm, but if you are doubling an ABO budget, then yes it will cost more.
Hi Davie. First of all, thank you for this walk-through Facebook advertising thing. I see it way more clearer. I'd love to ask you this. What if my business is a traditional service business, like drilling where the service isn't sold online? How does the pixel quantify my sales since people then have to make a call and get in touch to deal directly with my sale people get a quote or an invoice ?
I’m a bit confused. I got the ad part but my question is am I actually buying a product to sell or am I just leading people to the product for them to buy?
If you are doing shopify dropshipping, you will have a product in mind and to purchase on your store. You are aiming to lead traffic to your website to purchase this product of choice!
