This lacing technique can be used on any shoe, skate, etc for additional, lasting tension. I like using this at the 45 position to lock in the heel. It’s especially helpful with ridiculously long frames like these from Roka Skating
This is amazing, thank you! This is the next step to dialing in my Aeons! They have such a wide and low lacing area that sooo much energy is lost at the 45 position🤦♂
Getting a bit of heel lift with my new wizard skates. just got the pair of waxed laces I've been meaning to use and laces them up like this. Will try it out tomorrow.
Thank you, I'll give this a go soon. Knees are nearly healed up, at least enough to go in a straight line up and down, which is better than nothing. So do you lace right up to top when you skate or just to the eyelet above the runners knot and loop around the cuff?
