Very good explanation! I'm still a beginner so not feeling ready for that move yet but it's good to know why I do all the conditioning and strengh training.
Thank you so much for the video. I had my first fall with this move and landed really hard on my rips. Since then I never tried it, but your video was a great motivation to learn how to „fall“ correctly and to attempt this move again, since I‘m a lot stronger now :)
oh no! I felt scared after my first fall too! Pole is so tricky! You do get better at detecting wether you are secure or not in a move. There will always be new moves you try where you don't feel completely secure (I still experience this). So I totally agree with Karolina to take it slow so you can re-grip when you need to! I hope the progressions are particularly helpful for you!
I've never did pole, but I'm intermediate yoga practitioner and I tried aerial yoga too. I have strength and flexibility. Today will be my first time trying pole dancing, let's see how it is for me :)
