I don't know why people in comment section being so mean to dr v , most of them are people with caucasian skin and they don't know struggle faced by people of skin of colour , so stop hate comments, I am a women of skin of colour and her advice helped me alot with my acne and hyperpigmentation, and about her degree she already made a video regarding that , so if u wanne clear ur thoughts on that please check that video , she never claimed that she is a dermatologist .
Omg! Dr. Rattan is so right about the mosquito bites! I camped out in the woods one time as a child and I still have visible scars from the mosquito bites
Indeed not all skin can be treated equally. So when vanita talks about products being nafe safe that doesn’t mean it won’t react with everyone who has dark skin.. it can and does.
@@vanitarattan I was wondering...Is it okay to use Niacinamide everyday in your night time routine and is it okay to use with AHAs or BHAs in the same routine (like how would you layer them)? Thanks..Love your content!
@@_rhea.b_1305 do the majority of skin care youtubers have a 95% success rate of treating hyperpigmentation on skin of color? Are they doctors? Are they persons of color? Because Dr. V is one of the few people I trust with my dark skin
Y’all are a breath of fresh air together! I started working on my skin because of you Susan, then I quickly learned that things are not always the same for skin of color. I then found Dr. V and now I’m hooked! I would love for you to collaborate more with Dr. V and other Dr’s of color. Thank you for what you do😉
When they say skin of color, are they referring to everyone who is not caucasian or of European descent? Essentially everyone who is not white? I am Hispanic, but a pretty pale one. However, I still have the olive-toned skin, so I'm wondering if I fall in the category they are speaking of because I have been considering incorporating glycolic acid into my skincare routine to help with pigmentation scarring.
I am really happy to see Brown and Black together coming together for skin care, the beauty industry really needs a revolution of Skin care and makeup products suitable too for wheatish and Deep skin colors❤🥺
Vanita Rattan talks absolute shit. She’s been discredited by many skincare experts. Not to mention the latest controversy she’s been the centre of. Educate yourself.
Dr.V is fantastic! My boyfriend is a person of colour and I am fascinated by dermatology and the chemical aspect of skincare. I was so lucky to find her so that I could help my boyfriend too! I didn’t realize the kinds of differences between fairer complexions and SOC in regards to treatment. 🥰 love from Newfoundland✨
Hi Susan, I love watching your videos and I love Dr VR. You should definitely do a part two. It's so disappointing that some of your followers are extremely rude and disrespectful towards Dr VR in the comments. Just know that you are doing a great job and your video was conducted Beautifully with integrity and respect. Keep it up girl🥰❤️
Congratulations on this Collab Dr. V. That's why I love Susan. I've been dealing with hyperpigmentation for years and it's gradually clearing up. I always watch Dr. V. I've learnt a lot from your videos and Susan's. Hyperpigmentation is very hard to treat. Thanks again Susan.
@@_rhea.b_1305 You’ve really taken the time out of your day to rudely reply to several comments supporting Dr. Vanita.....you’re a fan sweetie it’s ok to admit it! 😂
@@sarahmichelle3222 Yeah because so many of you are uneducated cretins. 😂😂😂 it’s so disgusting that you’re proud of supporting someone with shabby ethics. Speaks to your poor character. Clearly your parents didn’t raise you properly.
Susan - could you make a video recommending some products that include the ingredients Dr. Rattan talked about? I haven't heard of a lot of them before, just Bearberry Extract, Phytic acid, Licorice Root Extract, and a couple of others
Dr Vanita Rattan knows nothing about skincare, she talks absolute shit. Most skincare experts denounce what she says to her audience and she has been the focus of much controversy this year. Do your research before following such clowns.
@Reine Beaux It’s not my fault if you cannot handle the truth. Yeah the underlying issue is that she has questionable ethics and I don’t appreciate people with crap morals.
Yes!!! Susan x Dr. Rattan on one video! This is very concise and easy to digest to the general population! Thank you both! I always circle back to both of your videos whenever skincare concerns come up! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🎉
Dang! I learned something new today. No wonder Glycolic acid not giving a progress for my hyperpigmentation, in fact, I'm not hallucinating when seeing my face have more dark spot on my nose and cheeks when I always slathered in SPF (even when indoor) 🤭
Glycolic acid seems so controversial right now too because doctors like dr v who are understanding soc are saying glycolic acid is too strong and can cause burns leading to hyperpigmentation on the face in soc and the community started unjustly dragging her over it but its true. Maybe not for everyone but for a lot of us. Knowing info like this helps us understand why and how allowing us to make the right choices for ourselves. I love dr v, shes beautiful inside and out.
YES YES YES!!!! I have been waiting for a video with the two of you for such a long time!!!!😍😍😍😍 Please do more video together. I have learned so much from the two of you about skincare and has helped me so much.
So helpful to know about benzol peroxide! I have acne and I feel like it’s one of my most confusing ingredients to layer. Would love more info from you two on it!
@@Sypriano_ Dr Dray has a video comparing CeraVe’s and Panoxyl’s. She recommended CeraVe for the facial acne and the Panoxyl Creamy 4% for the body acne. I use the Panoxyl Creamy 4% for my body acne and love it.
THANK YOU for the information on Benzoyl peroxide. I stopped using my wash for a while because I was confused about whether I could use antioxidants. I’ve recently reincorporated it back into my night routine and I’m glad to know that there’s not much to worry about with a wash off.
Dr V Please make or manufacture all this skin products for skin of colour so we don’t have to worry or check the ingredients. Also please tell us what are the best serums out there for skin of colour on the high street ie Boots or Superdrug ( not costing an arm and a leg). Thank you . All these different ingredients on the back of skin products are doing my head in . I have stocked up on Aveeno with oats and Garnier cleansing water because of you and thrown out anything with perfume in it !
omg you fulfilled my wish and suggestion!!! thank you Susan! thank you Dr. Rattan!! My two favorite ladies in the house!!! I've been loving Naturium marine hyaluronic cream and the plant based ceramide cream!!!
Hi I love your work please make a video on Indian skin care products as we are in need and don’t forget to mention about lacto calamine as it changed my life, love from India 🇮🇳 🖤
