This is such a good series! I’ve improved a lot over the past few days by watching these videos in the evenings after a days sailing. Thank you so much 😊
Glad they help. They were made to support training as an introduction to what you will do then a refresher to help cement the learning Welcome to the world of sailing!
Love the videos, just learning to sail and have not quite got the gybe yet😂 I’m the common mistake where it goes over☹️ going to pull the main sheet in some next time so it’s not so harsh when the boom comes by! Thanks
@Daniel Hebditch ok thank you how long have u been sailing I just bought a small boat a couple weeks ago and in between good wind and work only have gone a few times
Well done on the comments The centreboard is generally needed sailing upwind to stop side slip. Sailing away from the wind needs less, but this is depending on apparent wind. If you go fast (as with an asymmetric spinnaker) then a bit of board is needed but in “normal” sailing when sailing across Iraq away from the wind less is needed. Don’t take it all the way yo as the boat can become unstable Tim Sailaboat
