Gotta love living in the age of youtube. So much information just handed around for free. Can't imagine trying to learn how to produce back in the days of libraries and magazines lol.
Lol no hes not. The entire video he acts like its a chore. I think he's a fantastic producer but he's honestly a terrible teacher. He uses jump cuts(which I understand for the sake of condensing boring shit for a RU-vid video) and moves too quick for someone trying to actually learn something to grasp. It honestly feels like clickbaiting for a quick bag and not a video nor channel used for teaching and educating. Which I also understand. Not mad at it but dont really think he's giving anything to anyone who dosent already know wtf they doing.
I almost knew you'd make this video, I've wanted to grasp the basic principles of sampling for a really long time now. Thanks a lot for this video and Thanks a lot for this channel in general. ‼️🙏🏼
I felt so uncomfortable watching u slice and fit every chop manually lmao... I've used to do it like that, nowadays I prefer a sampler, makes that work so much faster hahaha
Nice video but... Can you make a tutorial on how you made Somethin Else please 🙏? From producing the beat to mixing vocals? I've been vibing to that song since you drop the music video. ♥️
i have spent the past two months (in reality a year on and off) trying to find videos that can actually teach me and i stumbled upon you reviewing xqc’s vids and i was like damn this guy is dope so ima watch him, i watched this video and everything i was confused about in sampling now all makes sense. Thank you kyle.
Would be great if instead of saying, "this" and "here" and "I'm gonna do these here and that goes up there" etc.. you could say wtf you're actually doing and clicking on so idiots like me can follow along
sorry for my ignorance, at 1:16 when he drags the sample from edison to the playlist, can someone tell me what button he pushes? I genuenly can't figure it out in my fl😅
I had this video saved for a while and today it has helped me successfully to take a sample and chop it up to make it be on tempo/in sync with the tempo. Thx Kyle, big fan btw of your RU-vid and music. 😇😌🔥🔥🔥
this is straight up shit and misleading for beginnners there's better tools for sampling like Fruity Slicer and SliceX, and that's not the tempo of the song you initially loaded
5:10 why would you say go down to 95 from 160 to slow it down but then you stretch the loop to 4 bars when you could have went up to 190 and it would have been the same as if you went to 95… you didn’t even slow the loop down, you sped it up.. the blind leading the blind 🤦🏻♂️
I know since you already did this fire video could you use serato sampler as follow up if you have it. I’ve been watching your vids since you use to live back in Mass. the living truth of what hard work can do I quit my job this year got my taxes and found a new job recently part time paying me as much as I was making my last job gonna ask for a slight pay raise and hopefully that keeps me a float to take my business like you and keep learning and making music. All these people in produce community have helped me a lot. So I appreciate each and every one of you guys. The Kyles, Simons, Chuki, Ocean, Cactus, Curtis Kings, and so many talented people I can’t remember right now I’m thankful to have the opportunity to work so hard get my equipment look towards all you guys as my mentors. Still grinding to be as good as you guys so I don’t miss. So thanks again for your hard work it shows!
i have just bought laptop with 16gb ram, SSD drive and CPU i5-11400H. And it is more than enough even on battery mode without high performance mode. And i sometimes use like 6 or 7 instrument vst's in a project.
@@diamondkavemedia it’s a constant leveling up. Knowing there is always room for growth is how you become better and don’t stay stagnant. So, I appreciate your comments bro. Thank you.
So after making tons of alterations, like re-arranging and pitching and stuff to the original sample - do you still need to pay roaylties to the original composer or does it count as "your sample" now?
