Sometimes when you play any RU-vid video, it will automatically turn from 480p to 720p because the limit data usage setting is not turned on. If you want to turn it on, here are the steps to turn your limited data usage on
In the RU-vid app settings, enable the "Limit Mobile Data Usage" option. This feature reduces video quality to save data, so keep in mind that the video may appear slightly pixelated.
There are other ways to do it. We recommend being on Wi-Fi as often as possible so you don’t use a bunch of mobile data. You used to need a third-party data saver app to restrict usage even more.
Keep in mind, live-streamed data uses about the same about of data as a comparably long RU-vid video at the same resolution and frame rate.
Open the RU-vid app, hit your profile picture, and then tap the Time Watched option. This shows you how much RU-vid you’ve watched in the last week. The option below that, your data in RU-vid will show you your watch history, comment history, playlist history, etc.
