How to save emails with ALL attachments into a SharePoint List.
In this video you can learn how to create a flow to fetch all the outlook emails along with email and metadata like subject, body, sender email, mail received date etc. into a SharePoint list.
A great use case for this flow is when you've a group email (or a distribution list) where all the internal / external parties would send email, and you don't want the information to get lost in some inbox where lots of emails would come through and make it look messy.
once you start capturing the information into a SharePoint list then we have endless automation possibilities, we can run some business process workflows if the mail is from some specific customer / user, we can get some alerts or can use that information as a trigger point for various reasons. This approach can also be used as a Knowledge management system.

How do you get the emails to be added to a lists that isn't published on a SharePoint site? E.g. just a template being used in Microsoft lists?

Hello, thank you for the Video! I did exactly what you did and its supposed to work, but there is always a single encrypted attachment in the .p7m format added. Do you have an Idea why it is like that and what I could do against it.

Thanks for this! Just want to ask, is it possible to save the files in a subfolder inside the root location (list name requirement)? Thanks!

Thanks. I have got a flow that takes an email attachment from Outlook to the Sharepoint intranet. I have got the attachment part working, but I can't add our metadata. I tried using 'update file properties'; however, I keep getting an error on the ID, so I must be missing a step. Can you help?

Hi, nice video. I am trying to do something similar but using Document Library instead of List. I have a flow to save each attachment individually but having trouble getting the email sender populated in the library against each attachment. I can't figure out after watching hours of you tube videos if this is possible? any info much appreciated!

I followed this flow. However, when the files are saved they get corrupted and are saved as 1 kb files. The name and extensions come properly

Attachment part is not working. The attachments are showing up in SharePoint list, but when you open them, it is giving errors. Advice?

Hi, your example is not realistic. Real corporate e-mails almost always contain signatures with company logo (unwanted attachment) for the last and all previous e-mails in conversation. If you actually want a useful automation, you should be able to distinguish between real and unwanted attachments. How would you solve this ?

maybe add a loop for each attachment check name *.pdf and then save
