Have you had this incident where the roots/stem are healthy looking but no matter how much one waters the Succulent, the bottom leaves remains dehydrated and not even falling off. Say it's not even recovering even after a week Could this be a case of extreme temperatures?
Thanks a lot for the video. Could you please tell what is the ideal temperature for the cutting to heal and grow roots in air? My cuttings dry up, shrink and die as i leave it to develop roots. It is kept in indirect bright light with good air circulation.
@@LushGardener so it starts with choosing a good cutting which makes me understand that not all cutting are good enough for propagation. Did I get it right? Also what does growing period mean? A cutting that has still room for growth which makes me understand that a full matured cutting is not suitable?
yes very good question..so when the roots rot initially they stop growing so the succulent doesn’t have any new functioning root that’s when the succulent started to get dehydrated….there will be wrinkles on the leaves … when the roots are healthy and there are wrinkles on the leaves after watering in 24-48 hours the succulents will plump up … it in damaged and rotting roots the succulent will not plump..so when you your succulents is continuously staying wrinkled it’s time to check roots
Hi, U talked about air root of succulent cutting during callus formation .Can succulents produce roots without any soil or water medium just being air dried? If yes how many days does it take to produce roots?
Hi mam..yes in the process of air rooting the succulent is just kept aside you can keep it on dry soil without planting it inside the soil …no water needed as the roots are not developed….but ensure the succulent is very well hydrated before doing stem cutting ..post stem cutting keep the cutting in indirect bright light with good air circulation… there is time frame as this process depends on the variety of succulent and how you environment is don’t do this if the temperature is very high and if the succulent is dormant … for example in my city it’s takes anywhere between 2 weeks to 3 weeks I will attach a link you can check that ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-shVKhWv_KfQ.html
Okayy My succulent roots are mostly deep brien there are few white ones so i think i should cut the brown ones My succulent stem is really small almost none
Can I apply cinnamon powder to the roots while repotting succulents and also on the pup ( end stem part) of laxmi kamal before pocking it into the soil
absolutely cinnamon will encourage the stem to produce more roots, while helping to prevent the fungus that causes damping-off disease. lamxi kamal { sempervivium } which city are you from sir ?
@@LushGardener Okay, I Am already placing it in indirect bright light ... How can I send you a pic of laxmi kamal to check whether it's root rot or not.
