How To Save Your Dry Extensions! 

Actually. I'm new to hair. Just looking for do's and dont's. So I don't know them yet. My extentions became dry! I had no idea they would get like they do. I panicked! Conditioner frizz control anything. Then one thing worked like a frikin MIRACLE!!! NO JOKE EVERYONE! Total accident ! I color my hair from black to blond to red to black then blond again. Not to mention the temp colors. I know I know. This was before I realized I could do extentions. So anyways I had this serum stuff for color treated hair right. Get this! It's a pre-wash primer! By Nexus. It's to save and keep your hair vibrant before you wash it with soap. To Save color. Read the back and sure enough it says "helps seal and protect each hair strand. Repelling water to keep your color remarkably vibrant". Ok so it puts a coating on it. Right? Well extentions I just recently learned comes With a coating on each hair ov sylicone or whatever. So. I tried it! People it works! Total serendipity here!!! A complete fortunate accident! My dryed up ratted ol very warn no more wave at all just stuff and crispy hair was right back to practically new again. I'm wearing it now. I'm on a stricked budget! I can not afford new hair every 2 months! Get this people it works. I have yet to use to much either. So get it work it do it love it again!!! Hope this finds you all happy and healthy! A.K.Stone.

Had to come back and find this video again so I could thank u and say I freaking love u!!!! This saved my hair. They feel almost new. I’m going back and redoing all my old hair today. Had to wash the hair three xs to get it out but so worth it. Thank u . This is gonna save me so much money. Everyone try it it works!!!

Olive oil is excellent for the hair! I use it in my hair as well. And this is certainly better than tossing out the extensions. I do use a gentle Moroccan oil shampoo on my extensions but only if I have done used hairspray with mine (which I don't like to use either). Great tip, thanks! Enjoy your videos.

the new morracan suave argan oil that I just bought in the stores, it has the deep conditioning mask which works absolutely amazing (: Ive had my remy extensions for about 10 months now and it was getting pretty dried lol In ready to switch out my extensions so ill buy some next month lol but anyhoo I tried that deep mask and OMG! made my extensions soo super soft and then after my extensions dried I applied the suave morracan argan oil and its amazing! (: when my hair is curled it never mattes.

I used coconut oil and it worked for me 😀

Put a few drops of orange oil or rosemary oil in the olive oil so it helps reduce the smell 😀

If I could find some food grade argan oil that would be better to use between olive oil treatments, along with occasional cold pressed raw coconut oil. But I never thought about using olive oil on my extensions, just my own frosted hair. Thanks for the tip!

I've never had problems with extension remy hair, and as I said in the video they have always lasted me at least a year! ;)

Raw Organic Coconut Oil Works. I've heard Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth Slurry 1st because of the silica for overnight then dry so the hair absorbs it, rinse, dry, oil, rinse, and dry, like what you did. Seems like it would be drying because it is clay but it has many nutrients required by hair, kind of how you brine meat to plump it up type of effect.

what can i say...you're an expert :) i don't use any heat on them apart from the iron once in a blue moon :p the heat protectantthat i use is chi which contains silk 100% ..it makes my extensions really soft and shiny!

If your curling your hair, scrunch it a bit and let it air dry. Because the hair isn't forced in a certain direction its more relaxed and easier to curl and hold!

I can’t get my extensions to not be oily now. I’ve rinsed and conditioned them 3 times! 🥴

You can get olive oil hair products at target/drug store! They even have olive oil in a can that dispenses like hair spray! Comes out in a VERY fine spray =)

Products that are specifically made for hair usually have other ingredients such as perfume etc, and won't work as well as pure products causing stiffness and film as I spoke about in my video!

you can actually buy the silicon coating that they use on the hair but it's expensive because you have to buy it in bulk. i considered it because nothing really works the same after that coating wears off but it's just too expensive for only myself to be using it for one or two sets of extensions

I would definitely not recommend using an actual iron in your extensions! I did this for years with my natural hair and it was destroyed! It might feel smooth temporarily but it is actually causing so much damage for the long run. Heat protectant always makes my extensions stiff and leaves a film as I said in the video. I would much rather do it the healthy way using less heat and no products ;)

don't brush them while theyre wet!! oh my god! perhaps brush them VERY gently if you have a tangle teezer but best to let them dry before detangling. hair is fragile whem wet

Marrocan oil has silicone in the product which causes build up on the hair strand.

The oil will not come out I've rinsed and let them air dry twice and they are still right greasy .. What do I do 😔

As I said in the video, I have only used the oils mentioned and know that olive oil works for sure!

in greece where i live almost every girl uses olive oil for her hair! well,one trick that i saw in a video in youtube, is to iron them with the iron for clothes!! i could'n believe that it would save my extensions! ofcours you can't do it very often..just when they are dry,and always with heat protectant..try it and you will be impresses by the results ;) but mine (foxylocks) shed like crazy..they used to sed since the first week :( what can i do?????

Hi I have the keratin extensions their glued.to my natural hair can I use the same method except putting my hair up in a shower cap n letting it sit

I did this to my extensions and worked great! However, the oil made me extensions shed like CRAZY!!!!! But all I did is sealed my wefts and it stopped shedding. :)

whats is the best method for the iso clip ins the ends are so ruff and one of oils i have tired has now left a smell in them any ideas PLEASE HELP

Please help me 🙏🏼.. My extensions were really healthy and shinny. Then I made the wrong decision to go swimming with them on... 😔 Now my extensions are really dry and are getting really tangled. It's just a huge disaster, for me.. Does it need to be extra virgin olive oil? Would just olive oil work? Or coconut oil?

I LOVE YOUR TIPS! BUT I ACTUALLY USE WEN WHICH IS GREAT. ANYTHING THAT GETS LL SOAPY IS NO GOOD. WEN DOESN'T DO THAT. IT'S A LIL EXPENSIVE BUT TREAT YOU HAIR EXTENSIONS WELL AND IT THEY WILL KEEP LONGER

When I leave my extensions to dry they tend to have a kink or slight curl in them when my hair is straight and I want them to fall naturally, how do I do this without using heat?
