If I were to put my 2 cents in, I would offer this bit of advice. With most cactus, top dressing like fire glass will hold moisture in and make them rot when normally they would not. I like to leave my tops open, or with pumice or lava rock if I must have a top dressing. Happy anniversary! pretty great stuff there!
Congratulations - happy anniversary Laura and Greg !! 🎉🎉 Have a wonderful time celebrating with family at the cabin. Thanks for the tutorial - cacti 🌵 are amazing plants. See ya when you return! 👋🏻
Happy Anniversary to you both! 🎉 Have a wonderful time off, you both deserve it so much!! BTW, thanks so much for the rotting lesson!! You are both wonderful !❤
Congrats, and great tips as always! When repotting cacti, try incorporating pumice or perlite into any soil mix to improve drainage and avoid rot. Hopefully, this helps, especially with your beautiful mammillarias. 🌵🥳🎉
Happy 40th. I adore my spiral cactus and was wondering why she stopped twirling, I moved her and she's still good but readjusting, makes sense. 10 spirals and going strong. Enjoy your celebration!
Will happy anniversary to you both I Love your channel ❤💐. How do you take care of aloe plants when some parts are good and some are rotting need help on that
Happy anniversary!! My 4 foot pilosocereus rotted and I cut to healthy tissue, let it harden off and planted in clean dry dirt. How long should I wait to water it?
I had a small spiral cactus for over a year and all of a sudden it did this. Started to rot and I don’t know why. I tried to save it too late 😢 I grew it inside on a very sunny window and its roots were very dry when I tried to replant it but it declined faster. I love the spiral cactus but because they are expensive, I don’t know if I want to try again.
