How to scan your instant photos like Polaroid and Instax with the Epson-ES-60W 

Such a great idea. I usually take my prints, scan them and then bring them back out with me next time I see my friends. I love giving my friends the prints so this will be helpful.

Thank you so much for this video! I just got one from Best Buy and it is so much faster and no newton’s rings! Now I can go back and scan all the photos from years ago. My current process takes forever and then of course there are the rings on some of the images. Thanks so much👍🏼

I own an Epson ds620 that does this except its maximum scan is 600dpI directly into Photoshop if its open, which is ok for me, I paid 7 bucks in a thrift store, I will keep an eye out on that Epson scanner used

As a heads up the epson 680 cant do instant film in batches. Each one has to go into a clear sleeve to get scanned. Otherwise it jams every time. Potentially you could buy 20 sleeves load them and scan it i suppose. It's time consuming one at a time, and the static from the sleeve picks up dust like crazy that ends up in your scanned image.

Maybe you already know that but by combining Photoshop's actions and its batch processing features, you can quickly build an Photoshop droplet (small app icon you can put on your desktop and just drag & drop your scans onto it so that is crops your images and saves em with the format you need) that would batch process your scans very quickly without a sweat. Record an action as follows: Trim command (image menu) > save as (you just choose any format you like in a specific folder of destination) , then you just stop the action recording. I wonder how good these would work for scanning negatives by somehow adding backing paper or some other thing. Idk 🤷🏼‍♀️. At least for something quick and dirty. Maybe a 3 pass scan using gelatine filters, tape, and a long backing paper could speed this up and enhance resolution. Ehnhanz!

That's not true 1200dpi but rather 1200 interpolated. It has 600dpi optical.
