@camgocrazy yea i mean even if youre not into college football or the draft process you still know alot about atleast the top 20 so not automatic having them 100% scouted is dumb
I can’t wait for your madden 23 franchise I kind of slacked on the lions franchise 🦁 but I went back and watched all your old ones. Lol can’t wait to see you go from pissed every game to dominating every game lol 😂 maybe when you start dominating switch teams like desperadoes franchise. Either way have fun and remember it’s just a game!!!!!!!!
I drafted a generational receiver on 22 by accident and it was amazing. Dude started in the high 70s and currently sits at a 99 ovr Superstar X Factor in his 3rd season.
I like the changes they made from last year. I feel like it's still a work in progress, but at least it's not as braindead easy as the old scouting was.
I drafted a 65 ovr quarterback with hidden dev in the fourth round on Madden 20 , at the end he had superstar dev and go up to 86 ovr in year 3. That was so cool, I hope madden can do more often this things on madden 23.
I got a 7th round TE who was hidden. He got a dev upgrade in week 1 and became an Xfactor. 62 overall was immediately starting and I moved my 95 overall TE to 3rd WR 2nd TE on the depth chart. My rook was 76 after his first year.
@@hellsdethbtingr In madden 21 I think, I cheated by looking at dev trait but my whole goal was to draft all low OVR players with a dev trait and there was a lot of stars, 2 superstars, and a Xfactor with a 57 OVR lol. You can find so many oline late in the draft. The weirdest draft pick I ever had was a 1st rounder WR had maybe 91 speed but his medium route running was a 99 but short and deep were around 80 like normal for a top wr prospect
Does anybody actually think we'll get anything close to a half-decent or working scouting system when the game releases? I mean what they gave us last year was atrocious and they just left it there for the rest of the year.
@@cracker7046 That's almost a given at this point. EA can't seem to figure out that the Chargers don't need to replace Herbert in year one. There are an accumulative 7 brain cells in EA HQ and they're all focused on micro transactions.
@@cracker7046 yeah they fixed that big time didn’t play franchise last year but this year good qbs will drop if the draft has a bunch of teams who don’t need qb
You should do another video something like this that shows what you’ve noticed while drafting generational players like what kind of physicals abilities they hit or core attributes. I’ve probably had a total of 15 draft classes come in and I don’t really know what separates a generational and someone whos just a really good athlete
That was a glitch if you changed tabs. If you picked your 3 players from the same page, either the all players page, or your favorites page, they would work. If you selected a QB from the QB page, switched to the WR page and picked one, and then LT page and picked one, it would glitch out.
thanx for this bro. i havent played madden in a few years since madden 20. told myself i wasnt gonna played until they made some big changes. just jumpen back in this year. and this vid helped a lot
not sure how the math works out for 23 yet, but in 22, it was NOT always in your interest to have the tier 3 as the national. Some combinations of scouts (depending on who was available) allowed you to get to 100% scouting of players without wasting would-be scouting, so run the numbers before assigning scouts and if one region is stacked for a position you want, you'll scout them more if you have the tier 3 assigned to that specific region rather than national
You can definitely find superstar x factor players late rounds. I drafted one mid 5th round one year. I was mind blown cuz he was damn near expected to go undrafted but I do the same thing you do and pick athletic freaks... and that he was! Man was a monster power back.
Just yesterday I drafted a Scambling/passing Superstar X Factor QB in the mid 3rd round. I was so shocked and so thankful I seen him. Immediately started him over Malik Willis
Wrs and hbs are stacked this year also linebackers corners suck ass and are rare to draft a good one unless ur a high pick and reach like the ai so draft good wrs linebacker and you’ll be able to trade for whatever the hell I drafted 3 X factor linebackers in one draft 😂
On Madden 22 I drafted a TE in the 5th round and he was a superstar x-factor. A couple drafts later I drafted another x-factor player at RB in the mid rounds. So even in the later rounds it’s possible to get them.
I love when the prospect spotlight tells me someone stands out for their "football IQ" and then when I look at them their awareness, play recognition, etc are garbage but their physical traits and abilities are good.
@@onbro6308 pretty sure he talking about Development Trait (player went from Normal, to star to Superstar) Which, still- isn’t a “new feature” in Madden23. Pretty regular occurrence in 22
@@logoheat2337 it isn’t new. I constantly have players go from Normal at the start of a season to SuperStar by the end of the season or Star to X Factor - constantly
For some reason there’s old faces (the ones with this issue) and new faces (the ones that appear bigger in the lineup screen Bengal made a point to change a few of his Lions franchise players to the new faces, and it helped them look better. I started doing the same thing in my saves.
Wow great video. I just started my franchise last night and had no idea how to scout. This video helped me out so much. Looking forward to your future videos.
I just drafted a computer generated WR named Dakota Watts he is a generational beast at WR at 6'6" with 96 SPD. My QB is weak though a 2nd year scrambler with a low 70's overall.
I think your madden 23 franchsie team should be the Texans, they have no one to build around besides stingley and maybe Davis Mills if you want him to be a Gardner Minshew
I just wish there was a way to quick view combine stats or scroll through players once you have their scouting card open, I hate how hard it is to find the top 40 time at each position
I wish they let you upgrade your scouts overtime. Like say you’ve consistently drafted a specific position 75+ and that position scout is a tier 1, then they’ll eventually get upgraded to tier 2
Had the third pick and was the Texans......had to pray the greatest WR talent I've ever seen fell past the first two picks. He had 11 A's in his traits and the rest were B's
I drafted a strong safety in like the 5th round - 6th round and man’s was a hidden dev . Unfortunately he’s not starting or gettn any playing time for me at the moment . I have L Cine starting and Hollands at free and drafted J Battle at free and changed his position to SS and is my user . . Idk if I should trade Cine and start battle and use the hidden dev safety I got in the 6 round as my user .
Just picked up the game yesterday bc it was on a massive sale. Does this all apply the same if I'm doing an Owner Franchise mode vs a Head Coach? Thanks.
What if I change the scout in the season, Is the progress then gone or will the percentage and knowledge about the player stay? Love your videos Greetings from Germany
