This is great. I've done small and large builds like this, using the "don't touch the edges" philosophy, but afterwards, I applied Crackle finish, the stuff made by DecoArt or somebody. It's fairly cheap, comes in a bottle the normal size for craft paints and you just apply it on top of your dried paint. Helps sell the old distressed paint look.

Haha I didn’t know what I was doin with the hands for my bot. I had to remove them several times lol. I Honestly prefer your method of having them actually attached to the wire with the beads.
