That was easy peasy! Thank you! And if you want to include your internal microphone just click the down arrow next to the little red record button in the Quick player
This is easily the best 'How TO' I have ever watched, on any subject. Congratulations. This is excellent teaching. Clear, concise and really informative.
Thank you for this!!! SO helpful. I've been downloading expensive, large apps in order to screen record. You are amazing and I am very grateful to have found your channel!
You made a great video here. Since I already knew how to use QuickTime, I went ahead to the 2:05 mark to learn ActivePresenter. I applaud you for your very concise explanation, with no fluff or nonsense I didn't need to hear. OUTSTANDING JOB!
Such a great job! I have a macbook air 2013 and I thought it wouldnt run, I love playing roblox but I could only record with my phone. Now me and my friend can record on my laptop when we play! Thank you!
Is there a time limit on the free app? I wanna record some of my lectures but the lectures are atleast 3 hours long. (yes my professor is OK with me recording the lecture)
@@ath0ul677 I think it’s not bc we’re on Mac it’s bc our version is Serria and you probably need Catalina I’m just a 10 year old that has studied tech better than almost everyone in my family
The problem is ever time I record something with QuickTime player when I’m done recording the video. When I watch it there’s no audio from the video. Even if I’m playing a game that has lots of sound in it. Please help on this.
Once you've saved a video, you can delete it the same way you would any other file. Locate the video file in the folder you've saved it to, then move it to trash.
Thank you very much for the information. I have a question though. HOW DID YOU RECORD THE VIDEO ON THIS TOPIC? WHAT PROGRAM DID YOU USE? I CAN SEE THERE ARE SOME CLOSE-UPS TO WHERE YOU MOVED THE CURSOR, like a special zooming
When you hover your cursor over the bottom of the window you should see a small menu. There's a volume slider in that menu - just drag it up to the volume you'd like to set the audio to. Hope that helps!
3:50 So does it record the audio that’s in the computer, like for example if I play a game or watch a video, will the recording pick up the audio for it?
thank you for this video! It was really helpful because i’m going to use quicktime to screen record the process of me designing a youtube banner for a client.
Quicktime records the microphone so you're not only getting the audio from the video but any audio coming from the room (like someone washing dishes) and there's no option to record audio directly from the video / soundcard.
