Yeah, I kind of understand why that is sadly. I love making them but for example this one is getting around 40% less views than usual. It takes a great effort to make and edit a video and it's a bit discouraging when the number roll in. I will keep making them but only when I have something to sculpt for my projects
I hope this gets a lot of views! Great video and perfect timing. I'm customizing my Bladeguard as Space Wolves this weekend and wanted to give them some custom hair and fur on their armor.
Nice! I hope that too, it's not that I really care as I don't live out of this but it's always nice when a video does well. Spoiler alert, it's not 😂, but I already was expecting that.
I just tried sculpting fur for the first time with this tutorial, and it went great! Thanks for the great strategy and tips. I can't wait to give it another try.
I just followed your Contrast Blood Angels tutorial today after 20years of getting back to the hobby and the model honesty turné out just as good as yours and its super easy to do thanks to your tutorial. Thanks man Im gonna have a awesome Blood Angels army now in No time. ❤️
So that's what those tools are for in my Citadel paint box. I've only been using Greenstuff / Blue Stuff to create round base molds and also been using greenstuff rollers for base texturing with milliput etc but this is the next step in this video.
I am about to convert the northmen cavalry of fireforge games into some white wolves knight by sculpting some fur on their cape: you're video was extremely helpful, thanks!
As I said in the livestream, I will make sculpting videos but most probably just when it fits my schedule, so only when I actually need to do a conversion of some kind. I'm not joking when I say no one watches them, the difference in views is truly ridiculous
@@JuanHidalgoMiniatures it's a shame the views are that low because they're good videos and personally I think knowing how to scult is a really good skill to have for the hobby. I love a good conversion and fur is a great and simple way to add character to your model
Thanks! I really like making them and will keep on doing it but it won't be a regular thing. And yes, I agree it's a great skill and extremely good fun
Vaya currazo Juan. Haces tan sencillo lo que a veces se resiste y parece imposible...así dan ganas de ponerle pelaje a mis queridos hojalata🤣. Eres un fiera😘
May I ask would you recommend for a less fluffy fur, like lion or leopard pelt? Would it simply be a less thick layer of green stuff, or does it not matter? Asking because I am going to be making a chapter of space marines that are all about hunting and will be wearing pelts on their shoulders and as loincloths. Also, you are freaking amazing. Loved your video for painting bone armor.
If you need more views you should start sculpting space marine legs. 😜 Really great video. Very practical and fun. The whole shovel knight project is pretty awesome to be honest.
Thanks, the core structure was done using silver. Advantages of being a goldsmith, I know how to work with metal very well. Then it has sculpted details over it
Glad I could I help! Also this is in a longer run a much better solution to molds. If you learn how to do this you can sculpt very complex surfaces and shaped unlike molds
It's not sold in pots, I put it there. I get mine wherever it's the cheapest, all Greenstuff is manufactured by the same company Sylmasta. The real name is Kneadatite Blue-Yellow. I think this one was from Greenstuff World.
