I glued my s10 and a s20 with the T-7000 adhesive. I think the answer is, not to use too much but to apply the adhesive in a continuous bead all around the back panel. You can then attached the baack panel and move it to its best fitting position. Then put a series of many washing pegs around the phone to keep the back panel compressed. This for me dried overnight and was a solid join.
You did good job there, but you should take off the old bioadhesive band first of all, then to clean with alchool for a better grip of the glue, anyway, keep'it up and don't forget to show the finel result witch is missing from this video.
Aren't you supposed to apply glue to both surfaces, wait few minutes, then apply them together? Like most adhesive glues if read the directions... That way it creates better equal adhesive contact to both surfaces rather than 1 surface unequally.
Probably not, but when removing smartphone screens that are glued on, generally a heat gun is usually advised to be used. Also, if redoing a seal, fresh glue is probably better than re-heating the old glue.
I found it painful to watch you scrubbing the tip through the adhesive like you were trying to erase pencil marks. Is there any reason you don't make slow controlled motions and apply a consistent, even bead to the phone frame?
Thank you, Captain Obvious. This video is about resealing the back of the phone once it has been removed (such as, if the battery has been replaced). It's not about resealing the screen.
It works I'm just not sure if this one can be used as wire adhesive I just really recommend only using for the back glass and also use rubber bands or clamps instead of a heavy object cause it's easier
