Thank you for watching my how to season an offset smoker video. On this video, I show you how I seasoned my brand new 1000 gallon offset Bison smoker. Seasoning a pit is such an important thing to do but it's often overlooked. I used beef tallow to season the inside of my 1000 gallon bison smokers and I ran my pit at 275ish for a total of 5 hours. After this process, my smoker had a really nice shone on the inside telling me it was nicely seasoned.
