Thanks for the video...I bought one cast iron tawa..I did the same thing which you have shown... after second use when I washed it..I observed black debris is coming out..what needs to be done can you please let me know.. thanks in advance
Hi , after seasoning don’t wash pan do it only if necessary if you wash pan , repeat the seasoning process again atleast for few times , that black one will be fine just season again and keep using that pan they will disappear.
This method really works . I was able to use my no brand tawa from an Indian store after doing this. Don't use coconut oil...use other oils like sunflower or canola.
Actually I purchased cast iron dosa tawa 2 days back, but little bit not satisfied as dosa appearance isnot such satisfied Does dosa turn as hotel style as days go on,pls tell me. I'm thinking to return it ,shalll I Or Not.
Hi , you can get restaurant style dosa on cast iron ,but cast iron works good when you keep using for few days , try these tips , pan should be on medium flame not high or low , when it’s hot pour dosa and oil , leave it till you see brown , use steel spatula so dosa will not break . When you see dry pan , Add just a drop oil and rub on the pan ( don’t add too much oil ) don’t wash pan after every use if you wash that pan you need to season again . I use both nonstick and cast iron , cast iron dosa tastes much better .
Really , how ? I used only one pan and still Iam Using that same pan I don’t have any different or 2 nd pan at my home , i don’t do any cheap tricks for views , if you don’t believe that fine . Thanks for watching
@@Busy-Bees oh ... You must be right then. Good luck. God bless.👍 No hard feelings. You yourself admitted people do cheap tricks... So just wanted to confirm. Thankyou for acknowledging. No hard feelings. 👍🙂 The pan which you were showing ... Was looking new and after a few times the handle was looking used...it might be the camera. Do not mind. Just let you know what I felt as an audience.
