My mind is blown. Because The property line I was trying to look up (the reason I watched this video) was right in the area you used as the example. If only you scrolled a few miles south I could have seen it on this video and saved time lol.
THANK YOU! It's a nightmare using each municipality's different software and jumping through different hoops for each town. I'll be using this from now on, thanks for sharing!
google earth used to provide this for free. you can still get it for free by repeatedly signing up for free trials with different emails, though you may need to reset your IP address/use a VPN, and possibly completely wipe and reinstall google earth each time. But it's free.
Very helpful, thank you. I am searching for land in the SF Bay Area. Any tips on how to find vacant lots (or teardowns, for that matter) in a larger area, e.g. let's say I'm looking in Richmond, CA, in the hilly area. I imagine buying or printing out a very large physical map, sticking it on a wall, finding attractive lots, and reaching out to owners (but I can't figure out how/where to buy or how to print out such large maps). Ideas? Thank you again.
You could try using PropStream for this purpose: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bVoklKGAt0c.html or DataTree: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-m75_-AK0yz0.html
Im trying to prevent any adverse possession of my property. Can google earth be used to get an accurate view of properties for this purpose, or is it better to survey the land in person?
Try ordering a boundary survey. That should clear it up for everybody (I've had to do this before in boundary line disputes... it's annoying, but it does solve the problem).
This is actually NOT ACCURATE, so PLEASE do NOT use these online maps records/Google Earth because the DATA has to be entered by your COUNTY, and they are APPROXIMATE only. Lines are COLOR-coded, red and green. I think green is APPROXIMATE and red is surveyed/AFFIRMED.
Can you look up one parcel for me I’m not an agent or anything but I want to buy a property and I don’t know who ownes it it’s on summit crossing RD Fredericksburg va it’s been logged recently and is about 225 acres
