This will show a linear change in flow with % opening. If you need to ask something else...ask again.

You can not achieve tight shutoff (100% close) in regulating valve though OEM claims.

Both have its merits demerits 1. Motorized require very less maintenencae but slow moving. 2. Pneumatic is fast responsive but require a lot of maintenance. 3. Fire hazard is also a criteria to select.
