I have been collecting for about 40 years and I have a lot of old coins and I have been keeping every copper penny I get in charge for the last 15 years. I have Morgan's I have buffalo Nichols and V Nichols also some big penny's I have a Indian head penny that's 1862 and in very good condition.

I just can't get enough of your videos. August 31st I retired from Railroad (BNSF) formerly The Santa fe. after retiring I had forgotten all about all the pennies I've found over the years , I just tossed them in a drawer of my toll box and forgot all about them until 3 month ago I stop and got a 12 pack of Coors had 3 cents coming back to me I was ready to toss in the bowl. If This bright Red glowing penny caught my eye I kept it. It's a 1962 D flawless, for 3 months I've been staring at this and learning from you and one other. So wanting to send to it in. There are 2 errors nobody has shown me in a book or videos. Now ready for that drawer in my toolbox.

My friend. I have had excellent luck with ANACS on my mint errors and varieties. I know this company is ranked 3rd among collectors but they in my humble opinion are great when it comes down to errors and varieties. They do not get the recognition and press that they truly deserve. They are still a GRADING COMPANY. They I believe are still working for the collectors and not the Corporate Entities. Look at their turnaround times and their prices. Too many hands in the cookie jar. Thanks.

Oh my goodness! I am so glad I found you! I am having a blast searching through my pocket change etc, but I found the most unusual penny recently. It's a 1951 D, the 1 is nearly sideways. The rest of the penny looks fine... it's brown, but not scuffed up. I will go through your videos and see if this is an error coin. I really like your videos. Thank you.

It depends on how much work you want to put in to get the maximum amount of money for your coins. You can bring them to a dealer or auction house yes but they’re going to take their cut so to speak. Or you can put in the leg work and sell them individually to fellow collectors without any fees on either Instagram, Facebook, local coin club or show ect ect

I'm currently not interested in selling stuff, but someone down at the local club is trying to piece out their father's estate and they asked me to help them at our club's upcoming show in September. As I have quite a lot of knowledge on the coins he has and he doesnt know much about them. This is going to be a great learning experience for me and I'll be sure to put to use all the information and business practices you preach!

I listened to you several years ago. I agreed with most of your comments and there were a few that I felt were just out of the zone. But after watching this video I’m glad I came back. Because it just so happens that I will be relieving myself of a substantial portion of my collection. Now all I got to do is start sorting out the coins. Decide which ones to get graded and which ones to just sell raw. Any and all suggestions and comments will be welcomed.

I have an 1886 morgan with strongly double date on all numbers .P mint. When it was pressed it was tilted and cut away some details, also doubling the nose heavily and leaving a pretty mole on her cheek thats shaped like a star half the size of the 13 colony stars on the edge. The reverse is in at least ms 64, so that shows that the obverse isn’t showing wear. It clearly was cut away during the press of the coin. I’m calling it the “ Marylin Monroe due the very obvious mole and the “Doubled Date” because She “ Marylin “ dated John and Bobby Kennedy. 😂. Going to Baton Rouge to let a high end coin shop look at it. But still going to have it graded and slabbed and auction it off after some PR for it. Wish i could attache a pic of it .

Wow, so expensive price per coin for grading. I guess it's only useful if you have a coin worth like $50. I've spent a lot of time dividing coins into years. But the most valued I've found are penny \ nickel P mint coins like $2. I'll continue to try to educate myself, but I'm not sure if I'm wasting my time or not. 😢I just got into this. I found a Susan b Anthony a couple Sackagiwias a 1918 penny a bunch y76ers An old 50 and 20 bills. A n old nickel with some kind of notch in the top middle of JEFFERSONS HEAD. A separated bunch that r all unique. Missing state letters all kinds, I'm not gready but sometimes a few bucks come in handy. Thanks 4 your advice.

I started selling coins on ebay about 2 years ago and I stick with - silver and clad proof sets, and common coins w/o errors. Easy to grade, prices have a low premium but you learn much and the risk is low if you over or undergrade. Note this does include junk silver. Maybe in a few years I will sell more scarce and rare coins but I do not feel qualified to do so presently.

The 192 are all together and you can read the writing very well on the nickels and will sell the 43 wheat coin as well thanks for sharing this video

One of the many, hardest things a person can do is sell one of there coins.... In my life i may sell 1 depending on price. But the rest that i collect is just gonna go to my step kids and my little brothers... because they would have more joy in selling it

I've been doing my homework for a while now. I haven't been in touch with any other coin collectors but you,about this particular coin. Enough said, I'll get to you on another time about it. My main concern is how do you keep the ones from getting damaged, when before I got it it was serculated

OK you are correct..I don't know what I am doing...I have collected since I was 3 yr old and I am 51 years old I have double dies and 92 dime 2 crushed damaged out of the coin roll in 92 I have 6 44 I have 60 nickels 45 82 and 25 83 Penny's 3of them doesn't have correct wait and one the size of a nickel every coin above 1940 I have most of them no 43 Penny's I do have a silver or something like that 1975 penny I would be interested in selling them for what ever they should be sold for

J have many old coins like copper coins, gold coins, silver coins Also they changes the water ,some are magnetic others not , even when you press the needle it stands upright and other examples

Usually, with a dealer, you get about 40% of what a given coin is worth retail. That is my experience.

Open a coin shop. Buy below sheet from customers and then sell 10% to 20% over.
