I just wanna say I really like the way you handle things. You really take the time out to educate us and show us things and help us out with things to research. Unlike RU-vid just sells us some stuff, but it’s not as accurate as you make it seem as you do the homework and show it to us. I am from Philadelphiaand I have some things I would like to send you a picture of not sure how to send it or email you but if you can send me something I would love to share what I have with you. Thank you again for your time and your patience.
I know there is, most people who don't see ethics fall into one of certain categories, they don't know coins and their values like they think, had a bad experience with a dealer, or a bad experience because of their ignorance or just have trust issues to begin with. I do videos on the crooks but for every crook I can show you 10 honest people in the business.
@@CoinHELPu I haven't seen all your pod cast so just wasn't sure of the process or procedures coins go thru on there way to grading. If I submitted a coin incorrectly what would happen?
It is not, all of these are post mint damaged and found in dryers at laundromats. Almost no ebay seller, selling mint errors, know what they're doing or they're just crooks trying to sell damaged coins as mint errors. Ebay is not a good mint error resource. Use error-ref.com
It's the A1 doing all of those false videos. The A stands for artificial which is false or fake, kinda like CNN, MSNBC and the like. A1 has no business in everyday life, it is totally a big disgrace to human intelligence..
10:47 Coin shops are in business to make money, not to collect coins. You have to re sell the coin. There is no crime in making a profit. Businesses would not be in business if they rip off their customers.
I don’t understand how people can be so hardheaded about this stuff. The first time I was taught the difference between mint errors and environmental damage I understood what I was learning and I moved on to the next thing to learn. I guess you can never underestimate someone’s desperation to want to strike it rich quick.
I always thought that some of them (rolled ones) were someone trying to make a ring out of them. I have washed enough of them to know what those look like. A great video on learning what they look like. Enjoy your weekend, Daniel. ☺☺
These coins are very cool to me... I collect post mint damaged (Mechanically Damaged ) coins and have been collecting them for years .... I truly like how similar they can be and at the same time different.... SO COOL
Reminds me of a person I know who walks around looking for coins. For some reason he thinks that all those coins are rare mint error coins that are worth thousands not millions of dollars 💰. Unfortunately he knows someone that thinks they are super rare coins as he goes around collecting them. He knows that I have collected coins since childhood (65+ years) and always asking how much they are worth. I finally stopped wasting my time explaining that they are worthless. From what I have heard the mint has stopped taking them and trading them in for cash. When ever I see him I always have a excuse why I can't stay and talk with him. I have many mental health issues from PTSD to TBI Traumatic Brain Injury and I memory lose . Lucky for me he can't remember all the excuses that I tell him. Heck even I can't remember them. Yeah, I see those ads where the video says the coins are worth thousands of dollars....I always report them and block them. Absolute garbage. They are making $$$ off the views. Thanks for sharing, Daniel. 👍👍
@CoinHELPu That's good to hear, as my response was inaccurate as that's my opinion only. An honest person was what I like. I have error paper notes and would like to get your honest opinion on. Hopefully, we can communicate going forward. I will look up your email and respond, thanks again 🙂
A couple of those quarters remind me of a fad MANY years ago when I was in Jr High. (60s). We would take quarters, use a spoon, pond the edges around and around until flat, then drill out middle to size needed to fit someone's finger, smooth/file as needed, sell for a buck. The girls lived them, guys wanted for their "steadies". I made a few bucks ! Thx for the memories Daniel. 👍🏻
Those look way to buffed up to be error coins . Mind u up til yesterday I though usa coins when flipped from left to right where upside down cause the canadian currency is left to right not right turned and the face is upside down . Is there a 1955 one cent that looks like it has hay or wheat on the sides of the US one cent opposite side says liberty and it has a small 1 and 955 is almost twice the Size to make 1955 with D under it ?? Any help is much appreciated . I'm from Canada and ebay etsy Google all tell me different prices
