My biggest challenge is I was recently diagnosed with a little known disability called dyscalculia. It is a neuro issue similair to dexlexia.... but for math, spacial and....sequencing. i have taken 200 twice and 300 ytt. It was online watching the videos was very limiting. There is no one to ask questions for clarification. . I tried to get help and they only referred me to a facebook group. The sequencing portion is the only thing preventing me from certification. I did try to find a local teacher, but most are online. It is frustrating. Thank you for listening.

I like your instructions. They are helpful. Thank you for sharing 🙏 What about if I don't have a yoga school and I have only a few yoga groups a week where students joining all the time? So my groups are mixed - young and older people (some advanced and some beginners). I try to show simplest version and variations and advance version. Any other advices?

Yay, glad you found this helpful! You are welcome. Great question - when it comes to teaching mixed levels or 'all levels' I still teach in a progressive manner. I pick 3 options/variations of the pose that would be appropriate for the students in the class. That is my best advice for teaching mixed levels.

Wow Juliana, this was so valuable! THANK YOU! I'm super happy I came across this video. I've been teaching about 15 yoga classes for beginners so far (hence, I'm a very new teacher) and caught myself having done some things that I now realize are not beginner-friendly, for instance, warrior 3. I will definitely teach it more progressively next time. I have a few questions: Would you teach several balancing postures in one class or really just one when it comes to beginners? What would be a progressive way of teaching eagle? Figure 4/standing pigeon? What do you do to avoid sitting in easy seat throughout your warm-up (which I'm guilty of)?

Yay, I am so happy you found this helpful and that you will now teach Warrior III in progressions. You are so welcome. I normally just teach 1 balancing pose in a beginner yoga class. The balancing pose is *normally* the peak pose that I work up too. I actually just made a reel sharing exactly how I teach eagle pose in a progressive manner. You can watch it here: instagram.com/reel/C7zoY6jv_DA/?igsh=MXVjbTVhZjB0cnIxNQ== I generally don't teach balancing figure 4 in my beginner yoga classes. Instead of doing the warm up in easy seat, I do butterfly, seated forward fold, seated wide legged forward fold, seated tree, etc. I pick another seated pose to do it in!

If there is a more experienced yogi in the class give them advanced options, just as a struggling student is offered less challenging variations
