Next in the #dirtyrottenbaystard video lineup is a series on cleaning, inspecting, and servicing of the Mercruiser Alpha 1 Gen 2 outdrive/sterndrive. This video is the intro to the series and I explain what the plan is for the future videos. I hope to make this into a playlist of all the different steps in servicing an outdrive. I will drain the oil, do a pressure test, replace the u-joints, remove and inspect the prop, change the impeller, and reseal the trim cylinders.
