I am not happy, I was on the understanding that this had a 'in home' warranty but they are asking me to send the mower back which as I am disabled, would for me, be very hard to do. Anyway, the problem I have is that the electro start will not work. Tested swich and battery and both oka but I am only getting 4.85 volts at the starter motor. Any ideas?
If you take the screw out of the belt tensioner and add a nut to the front of the screw and then replace that worked fine for me lousy design, I also fitted a nut behind the plate for added security and tension
Is there a known problem with the spring loaded belt tensioner? My belt isn’t being pulled to the correct tension so I’m losing drive and the belts slipping.
I also have a problem with a less than one year old machine and the belt has come off altogether. Unlike the video the underside of my machine also has a secondary vacuum impeller which for the life of me I cannot remove to release the cover and get to the belt. Although a UK build the manufacturer has no idea when I describe what I am seeing!
@@gooner67 they have been very helpful indeed. there is an upgrade part available at no cost as under warranty which replaces the axle clamp and puts tension on the gearbox therefore onto the belt. I've received and fitted this and works well now!
@@WildAxMotorhomes Thanks for getting back in touch. Does your machine have the "Turbo Grass Vac" feature with a circular impeller fan and fan blade boss?
@@gooner67 no it doesnt - just a straight forward one! i dont collect anyway i mulch which is much easier!! You could try contacting genpower.co.uk i dealt with Wayne Sanderson - he was great.
