Awesome video. So many setters make it look so technical and precise and impossible to do. It's nice to see a guy who's been doing it for years approach the task in a real-world setting, without microscopes and all the stuff normal people can't get. I get rings without gemstones occasionally and its always fun to try to find a stone to match, so I have done this before, I wish I had seen this sooner. My limitation is when I get one where the main stone was a bezel set cab and there's nothing for the bottom of a new stone to rest on, as far as sizing I can always cut a stone to fit, but some of the designs are intricate wire so I don't know if they got to easy solder. I would hate to mess with trying to redo these designs by soldering a wire in the bezel.. I bet you would know a good way to tackle this.😅
