What do you use for the skeleton? Does the veins go into the glue?

I buy the leaf skeletons but you need more glue to ‘bed’ in the extra thickness of the main central leaf vein.

It is an oil filled glass cutter, available from all stained glass suppliers and some mosaic suppliers.

betts vinkemeier hi, I use silicone for glass on glass and yes I do grout, my work is designed to be out in the garden.

What is the leaf skeleton made of?

It is a skeleton of a real leaf, when all the flesh has gone and you’re just left with the veins. You can buy then from florist and wedding suppliers and craft shops. Range of different colours but the colours so fade in sunlight.
