Hi Sue, may I ask where I can buy the gold glass on the first image of the feather please. I’ve been wanting some for years. I used to buy a gold mirror glass but it hasn’t been available for years as far as I know so I would really appreciate any help in sourcing some gold shiny glass … thank you for the wonderful video it’s so helpful. I took a weekend class with you years ago which I enjoyed so much! I haven’t stopped making since… x

Absolutely beautiful... at the beginning i thought the piece was small but against the tree it is quite a bit larger. What size approximately was the finished piece?
Everything including glue and tools is explained in the first video of this course, 1 of 19. If using mirror you can use silicone but don’t use silicone on a clear glass base.
If you watch no. 1 of 19 of this same playlist that shows you the different tools and how to use each one. You can use either glass scorer or wheeled mosaic nippers

I have heard that Gorilla Glue caused the substrate to break after a while-- not sure but we were warned about it. Of course there are many types of Gorilla glue now.

You can use different borders. Gems/nuggets, strips of coloured glass, even mosaic tiles. You can also use thin strips of textured clear ( non coloured) glass which gives a similar but softer look.
I’m so glad I found you-speaking glassily. You’ve saved this 85 yr old a lot of frustration and some money. Your accent is so good to hear - I was born and raised in London in 39 and spent 11 childhood there before coming to the US! Champion!!!!
May I ask what you do with the flower mirror tiles you create after they are finished. I have like 50 little mirrors someone gave me that are like 7.5cm by 5cm. and I was thinking of doing your flower in each one, but then I don't know what I would do with them. I think your art is so very beautiful!! I hope I can create such beautiful pieces like yours.
I used to make small tiles and put them into a box frame. You can sell them online or at fairs or give as gifts. I’m just starting a set of 12 in small frames with the flower that is associated with each month. January-Snowdrop, February -Crocus…and so on.
