thanks, great video. I have been watching others and no one showed gluing in the pennies so it was nice to see that is all done at the same time and not allowed to dry and then the knot later. thanks.
Great DIY video. I use 5 min. epoxy from Stick Fast, it sets in 5 mins., (25% strength), 1 hour 50% strength, full set cure in 12 hours. The next knot I set I'm going to try silicone, Maggard's offers a job size packet of silicone for $1.50. I use 1 inch nylon washers for spacers, they are about 1.5 mm in thickness. I have several of your handles and am enjoying every one of them. Have you ever considered doing custom brushes? Have a great and safe week!!
I'm anxiously considering doing customs. It is definitely out of my comfort zone, but I probably will do it. I need to think of a way to do it and what I will charge and stuff.

@@CravingShaving Ok. I have removed (steaming) old knot and there is a layer of old glue in the hole. It looks like a flat layer so I was not going to remove it but now I'm considering doing it. Is there any easy way to remove the old glue or I will need some special tools ?
Do any Shave Pucks or hard soaps are going to work?. You can mix and match old soaps? to fit in any mug or cup that you like to use. like (Mitchells' Wool Fat or Arkos shave soaps?) Cut the bar soap up, put in a mug, cover the soap with a small amount of water, and microwave for a minute or so? if it foams up, stop. the water keeps it from burning itself up? (DON'T OVER WATER YOUR SOAP??) Easy does it? let cool don't want to crack the mugs or cups you're using? ( you just went it to congeal in your mug or cup') place in the sun, until soap hardens? When using Dry Brush more Water. For its (price point?)' (I use Dove bar soaps?) (use any soaps Out there ??) save your money spend it on your wife don't listen to the shave mafia.try to save people money in these inflationary times wheelchair Larry Merry Christmas
